Been shite, aye. Good news for us? Doubt it. There never is good news for us.

Since the Chelsea game through to the Stoke game (bar the second half at Man City) we've been playing some good stuff and if it wasn't for a few freak incidents (Coloccini red card + pen vs mackems, Agüero suddenly scoring 5 goals in 12 minutes after being kept quiet first half, Jack Butland playing brilliant) we would be higher up the table. After yesterday's debacle it's all back to being shit with no plan to approach a game and everyone kicking off again. How can we go from playing well from the Chelsea game to the Stoke game up until Bournemouth where we suddenly turn atrociously shite again? How does that work? Has McClaren changed the system or has something happened or what? I just don't understand.

I'm going to this Newcastle last 5 @ Selhurst Park D 1-1 W 0-3 W 0-2 (Championship) W 0-2 W 1-2 We've lost to Crystal Palace in the Premier League only once: a 1-2 defeat in 1998 at St James' Park. NUFC record vs Alan Pardew sides D 1-1 (away at Palace) L 2-0 (away at Charlton) W 0-2 (away at West Ham) W 2-4 (away at West Ham) D 0-0 (home to West Ham) This will either go a way of Palace winning comfortably and us having to see Pardew's smug face on Sky and in papers all talking about how 'the Geordies are ungrateful, delusional pathetic bell ends who hounded this tactical genius and future England manager out of their club which they think is bigger than it actually is' or we somehow pull off a win. We all know which is the most likely.

The list of teams who we now have to be afraid is growing every season. Last season it was Swansea and Southampton. This season you can add Leicester, Palace and West Ham. I'm just saying the number of teams we can go in against sort of expectant of a win is dwindling fast. Other teams are improving, we aren't. I'm really, really worried.

Completely agree there mate. We lost 0-6 to Liverpool in 2013 though. Two weeks after the first 0-3 derby. I remember it well for all of the wrong reasons, and I'll remember yesterday as well. Completely agree with you on the basis that yesterday was just as bad if not worse. Imagine if we were playing a Manchester United or City, or a Spurs or a Liverpool right now (who we have in two weeks ). Would have been double figures. And if McClaren knew that he had lost the players, wouldn't he walk like he did at Nottingham Forest and his second spell at Twente?

Real Madrid 0-4 Barcelona.

I guess this is just another sad part of the history book of Newcastle United, just like it was from 1997-2000 & 2006-2009. I liked the Hughton period. One and a half of a brilliant season under Pardew. All the rest I've seen: shite. And I fear that due to the money in the game now, will we ever reach the heights of where we were under Keegan and Sir Bobby? Or that 5th season?

The Hannover stadium which is the stage for Germany v Netherlands has been evacuated. Not again ffs. EDIT: It's been called off now.

I've just went with putting armour over the top of the Vault 111 suit when I'm not wearing Power Armour. I like it that way, reminds me of the armoured Vault 101 armour from Fallout 3 or the thing you see in the outro of Fallout 1.
