To play devil's advocate, if he is close with Larsen's agent it's not beyond the realms of possibility that Larsen's agent would know more than most given how it affects his clients future. But yeah, we'll see I suppose, he could just be a bluffer.

He's cornered the market on the, let's say, mentally infirm. Can't be too mad at it if he's making money. In effect he's probably not much worse for football than a lot of supposedly mainstream professional journalists.

From what I've read and seen the only thing similar about them is their height and the fact that they're both strikers. And I suppose you could say both score their goals almost exclusively inside the box. Woltemade can dribble, is great with his back to goal, can carry the ball and link the play from deep. Larsen is a much more orthodox 9. Woltemade is closer to Isak than he is to Larsen.

Downie seems to think we're currently more likely to sign Larsen in his most recent video, which is a big change from his opinion yesterday on twitter, but in fairness he's said that things are changing hour to hour. Wolves are yet to put any bids in, but are looking at least two strikers, one of which is Arokodare who plays in the Belgian league. So it seems I might get my wish for us to have two giants up front for us. We'll obviously not have them playing together all that often, but can you imagine being a defender and having to deal with both Woltemade and Larsen, and then Woltemade, Larsen and Burn on corners 😂

So as we largely assumed we're still after either Wissa or Larsen to go with Woltemade. Having two giants appeals to me, but Wissa us probably better for variety.
