They can't be good for the skin. A serious dogger doesn't let his audience's wardrobe distract him.

You get the luck of the green more if you try harder. We're just trying harder. Champion tbh. -

Who has taken an anti-west stance? you can comment on the rest of that post, and more, if you like. No Leazes, he's rejecting your basic premise, so the rest of the debate is derelict. do you talk like that in the pub Are we in a pub?

Woodgate was an excellent footballer too mind, probably underrated. They'd have made some partnership (if Woodgate was fit for long enough). Absolutely. Having said that, the good thing about having someone whos as good a footballer as Colo at the back is that you can play a duck egg alongside him. Which is basically what I think S.Taylor is and basically how you described the likes of Samba (correctly I think). It's immense to see Colo carrying it out of the back four at appropriate opportunities, but you certainly don't need two centre halfs passing their way out of the back four, so I'm more than happy with a genuine footballer playing alongside a physical presence who knows his limits. We're defending well because we're doing the basics well. Really pleased to see Colo continue to boss it over the two games we've been without Tiote's cover too. Loads of credit to Guthrie etc for that, but even so.

Obertan: Earths' gravity is no match for him.
manc-mag replied to Park Life's topic in Newcastle Forum
Am sticking with my theory about Obertan's main problem. You still peddling this 'lucky bastard' line? Am genuinely annoyed with you for not giving Pardew credit for the job he has done, the fat bastard might have been lucky appointing him, he might have known what he was doing, we'll never know. Whatever, it doesnt matter, Pards has done a cracking job and there is no way you can call our start to this season lucky. Unless you're Happy Face and you like pulling statistics oot your hoop for the sake of argument. Where have I not given or avoided giving Pardew credit? He's been fantastic with what he's had to work with. You need to distinguish between two distinct facets within the club. The owners/board and the manager/coaching staff. We don't have enough players, Pardew knows this, he knew it in the summer, the fans know it, and what he's done so far with the players at his disposal is like Jesus sorting 5,000 out with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish. If he'd have done half as well, with what he's had to play with he'd have deserved praise. Where the luck has come in, has been the fact for once in our existence we've had no injuries, this is like new ground for Newcastle, and I say Ashley is specifically lucky, because quite clearly the squad is not big enough and it's his and Llambias' fault that we'll be fucking around with the likes of Shane Ferguson, and putting Raylor right wing should just one more of our wide men get injured. There is absolutely no depth in any part of our squad, one injury to a key player and we're massively depleted. No other team in the top 7 can say the same, and it only need two or three more players, and we've got the money to do it, to have a reasonable squad. Unfortunately for the agenda-ists, you cant separate the two really. The buck stops with the fat cunt and therefore so does the praise. Says who? Under that theory Malcolm Glazer deserves as much praise as Ferguson for reaching three Champions League finals in four years. Stevie, you just praise Man U as you see fit, mate. Hey what about your next of kin City last night -

I didn't read the original post and it's context, LM seemed to think it was a genuine view so I responded to it accordingly. He was on pissed again I'm assuming. Either that or he genuinely has no basic brain function left. ah, the grey man is back. How's the hangover? how was your lemonade ? Loving the new material. Not.

He played against us (and did that) when we played them in the cup. Was it the 1/4 final when Robson was manager? Dave Challinor? (sp) Can't remember his name but you might be onto something with Challinor. Aye, I think you might be right with the Robson quarter final Alex. I was trying to recall how far back it was going but I was thinking it had to be about 10 years at least. Used to see him do it quite frequently on the North West regional footy highlights show too, the bamp.

Aye, everything helps-they'll win at all costs, hence Taggarts relentless bitching/sending the FA his approved list of who can ref at OT. No stone unturned. He consistently gets a phenomenal amount out of millionaire footballers though because of the very basics. They're there to play for the shirt and win at all costs and £200,000 a week burning a hole in their pockets doesn't distract from that one iota.
