  1. Madrid at St James’ would be incredible.
  2. He's got real nark on, I'm tellin ya! The nerves are setting in and they're even angrier at the world than usual.
  3. Are we the poowarr relation to Newcastle???
  4. £175. The '93 ones were priced at £250!
  5. I stepped out of the office on Tuesday for a break between meetings and there’s a vintage football shirt shop I’ve been popping into for the past 2 years without buying anything. There’s always hundreds of red shirts and rarely any decent United ones. Not sure what happened this week, but they had some classics. The home ‘93 kit. First kit I got bought. As well as the blue and the green away kits with McEwans on the front. Home and away ‘95. They also had the denim away top, with Asprilla on the back. Turned into a very expensive lunch break. Takes me back to being a kid, and the excitement of getting a new kit and being desperate to wear it out.
  6. I thought the same thing. £20M for an 8-10% share of a business that had an operating loss of £9M last FY.
  7. Back at the FA. Let’s see how long that lasts.
  8. Chelsea's away form has been poor this season. Particularly against the beter teams.
  9. Northampton Saints RFC did the same exercise last year - on the same notion that the old badge didn't translate to a digital age. My opinion of it is that losing specific references to the city is shame. You can end up with a generic cartoon like badge.
  10. Apparently Villa objected to playing in the ebening as they had events planned on the Sunday.
  11. The study was conducted by Dr Antoine Septier, Dr Farnaz Kamranzad, and Professor Ben Edwards from the University's Department of Earth, Ocean and Environmental Sciences department in partnership with the club. "Much like natural seismic events, these goals produced bursts of ground-shaking, triggered by the sheer passion of Liverpool fans," Professor Ben Edwards said. "Their enthusiasm was literally powerful enough to move the Earth." Even Universities are not above shameless PR work with them. This is going to continue for a while yet...
  12. Wolves are unbeaten in the league since Feb. Massive uptick in form. Hopefully they do something against City on Friday.
  13. As well as Joao Pedro for us vs Brighton. Every little helps.
