Thats Football in a nutshell. Poetry without the poets.
I get that if you support a successful club or the mackems 😉but for the rest of us, football is nothing but a tragi-comedy, a huge kick in the nuts the afternoon before the date with that hot person who has already told you what's installed.
Especially for us stupid old cunts that support Newcastle. Everytime we get close, as the giant seems to rouse from its slumber, it trips and knocks itself out for another century or those clubs of poetless poetry change the rules to suit themselves, snake charming their serf like colleague (yeah right mid=table obscurity) clubs into thinking they are helping them - like those betwixed by the notion of aspiration they are fooled. The rich and elite want to you to believe you can attain what they have but it's just a fools errand. as they don't want anyone else to join their lot.
Nope, best to know there is no hope, the heroes will always die in the end and never succeed.

"I've working on a novel, you're the protagonist!"
There's way to many subplots in that piece of prose.

Off to see Mogwai tonight and one of the supports is a local slowcore/post-rock band called A Broken Sail whose releases have all been mastered by David Pajo (Slint/Tortise/Stereolab/Zwan and a whole bunch of other stuff that you would go, really?)
He's also the replacement for Andy Gill in the reformed, original members, Gang of Four, so in the degrees of seperation search I found this, which is a real interesting watch.

No use calling anyone in particular out, they all had below average games, except for wor Lorius, who you cannot fault even though he had to pick the ball out of the net four times.
Good to see little Joe back on the pitch, was the other positive.

I love the first goal. Our CB randomly making a run into a CF position from open play .😀
With that in mind; Albert or Schär?

Depends entirely on your kid, my youngest is 13 and he plays GTA 5, is watching Breaking Bad, his dad drives a big truck filled with dead prozzies and also loves Lego.
So it's all relative.

Aye. I’d play hard ball here but I assume a middle ground will be reached.
£10m and he starts in 2025.
TBF what's the point in reaching middle ground?
They haven't done us any favours and will continue to make things as difficult as possible for us because they know we are coming for them, for all of them.
So we should just make any and everything as difficult as we can for them all. Fuck'em.

Do we have any South Korean posters? My condolences.
My chiropractor is South Korean, (he's very good if anyone wants his details), he won't be happy after all he's had to listen to, on my thoughts about the bacon eating cabbageheed!

Ashworth is just another tiny testicle man in the world of football. He can have a challenge and be part of something truly unique but no it's all too tough.
So at first opportunity to fuck off to somewhere that is gifted every opportunity, what little chonies he has, shrivel up and he makes for the exit.
What a gutless twat.

When they line up before the game, standing next to each other, didn't give you a hint?

I remember Armando Broja's loan transfer from Chelsea to Fulham had a weird clause in it:
QuoteAs part of the deal, Fulham will pay Chelsea a loan fee of up to £4million, however, that could potentially drop to zero after a certain number of appearances.
If you think about it, it's a really strange clause to include, you'd think they'd want the funds to help with their FFP issues?
So it's likely that they have also included something hinky in Lewis Hall's agreement.

Ironically saved more difficult ones earlier.
But they were all but straight at him, his reflex saves are good, it's his reading of a ball in flight that is terrible, there were a couple of crosses/set pieces he flapped or tried to punch that had everyone's hearts in their mouths.

7th would be a wonderful result for the season. Even 8th is not too bad all things considered.
Does 7th get us Europa League? Or would that get us the tin-pot Europa Conference league or whatever it's called? (Assuming that a team above us wins the FA Cup and we don't pull off a miracle.)
FA Cup gets us Europa and that's what we should be aiming for, a fucking CUP.
