  1. I did 4 years out there - absolutely hated the place. Really hard on the family, but it allowed us to buy a place in Spain with cash & move there. Would never return to Saudi though.
  2. I’ll take any good news at the moment 😔
  3. "You can make the case for selling Isak. And people will. The money brought in would potentially free them up to spend heavily to improve the squad over the next two years. There would be no PSR constraints to speak of, but then you have to factor in that Real Socieded negotiated a sizeable sell-on clause in the £63m deal that brought Isak to St James’ Park back in 2022. Even a sale at £120m-£130m would only bring in around £50m-£60m of profit. It is not quite the game-changing amount people think" From Luke Edwards in the Telegraph.
  4. I hope that working on multiple deals at the same time doesn’t impact on our transfer team’s legendary speed 😳
  5. Chelsea looking to add to their paper thin squad 😔
  6. What is Eddie waiting for with his other subs? Shall we give them 5 minutes to try and change things?
  7. Pope creates unease - I always think the back 4 look more settled with Dubs behind them
  8. The reality is that contracts mean very little in football nowadays - if a player wants to move then he’ll get his move. No club is going to let an expensive asset depreciate in value by sticking him in the reserves for any length of time - they’re going to cash in for the biggest fee they can get. There is bugger all loyalty from the vast majority of players either (& why should there be?) If a so called ‘bigger’ club shows an interest - especially with their agents whispering in their ears - they’re going to be off. No amount of social media posts saying how much they love the fans & the area, badge-kissing or shouting ‘Vamos’ will change that.
  9. Osula must be wondering what he’s got to do to get on
  10. Gordon displaying the brains of a rocking horse 😡
  11. Morning all - 1st post on here. Was always going to be a struggle to get something out of this game with the current form that the Dippers are in. Still disappointing to see us needlessly coughing up possession & making some bad decisions. I’m a big Tonali fan - but that was the worst shift I’ve seen him put in for us. Trying to look at positives, young Lewis Hall looked assured & can be personally pleased with his performance. Onwards & upwards - bring on Brighton! 😵🥊
