Harry Redknapp has ruled Portsmouth out of the running for Southampton wonderkid Gareth Bale. Wales' youngest ever player has been heavily linked with a move to the Premiership in January after developing a formidable reputation thanks to his impressive displays on the South Coast. Tottenham are reported to have made an approach for the 17-year-old, whilst Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle are also expected to be in the hunt for Bale's signature if the left-back becomes available.
