I just think it's weird because I can't format, go in safe mode (even command prompt), debugging mode, repairing, last known working config, etc. Got to be the hard-drive.

Nah, when you put the Vista disc in and try to boot off it, it says it's loading the data off the disc, then it goes to the windows loading screen and nowt happens.

It's pissing me off like, think it might be the hard-drive just being buggered. Just tried to run repair and got: "The procedure entry point RpcRaiseException could not be located in the dynamic link library RPCRT4.dll"

Yesterday my laptop got the blue screen of death while I was on it, I didn't get a chance to read the info because the system restarted. I tried to load it back up but now it doesn't go past the Vista loading screen with the bar going across the screen. I've tried safe mode which does the same, and the 'repair mode' you get to choose and that does the same. So today I got a Vista disc to format the laptop, it loads the data off the disc but it goes straight back to the loading screen with the bar going across the screen! I honestly have no idea how to sort it out so any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Besty.
