  1. i think re reading it, it only refered to luque
  2. If he starts banging them in, he will be off toodle pipski come january once the fears of his injuries are allayed. The first half of the season for him will obviously be shop window time. Remember he left liverpool to win things and since he left they have....
  3. a big step backwards if we took bellamy back, i think he has ruffled a few too many feathers to step back imo
  4. Rob, I think we're destined to be soulmates, because all that can be said in reply to that is 'Amen my brother'. Everyone everywhere is over-worked (unless you're Scott or Alex) and under-paid, it's just that nurses never shut the fuck about about it. Enough already. apart from reading this on wikipedia (probably), what facts are you basing your sweeping statement on ?
  5. is there any chance ashley has shares in 'Air'..... now that would be interesting
  6. i would happily see barton here, with the added edict that he would know that if he stepped out of line, there would be no pussy footing around, it would not be tolerated.
  7. That's because he is a proper tosspot. never judge a swede by it's cover, or something like that. i thought it was --- "Never rub another mans ruhbarb"
  8. i am rather hoping that sam will sort this sort of mentality out, and if needed get shut
  9. There are better players than him, as a last resort maybe....
  10. other than championship, who would in their right minds be interested in him
  11. what a pile of crap....... probably some london jounalist pissed off because our future looks rosy again
  12. this seems to be the the main requirement to signing new defenders....can't be as shite as what's there already i think that has to be the basic requirement from now on. success breeds success, if we go on to do well this season we could attract a higher level of player no problem instead of the "BIG NAME" buys that FFS used to love
  13. would be a good foil for --- dare i say it ---- Owen, and a player that should have been here when he left chelsea, instead we missed the boat
  14. Yeh £1 mill is nothing, but when all you hear is Sherhard refuses to sell and is pushing to get a better price for his shares and then on top of that he has negotiated this clause, he is getting greedier and greedier, club first i think not I believe he would take £1.01 per share so he can say he got more per share than the halls, the gulf between the two families seems to be immense.
  15. On North east tonight, they stated FFS is on £500,000 per annum as chairman and has refused to sell at the price offered. The greed shown is amazing, then add on top a hidden clause in the accounts means if FFS is removed from his post he also gets a pay off of 2 yrs wages, a £1 million payoff. The more i hear the more he just pisses me off.
  16. buy him, he cannot be as bad as the current crop anyway
  17. If freddie has 29% and he has already bought 41% simple maths would state there would be 30% floating around to be bought other than freddies...... so getting 51% should not be a problem should it
  18. He doesn't have to be the chairman. Abramovich isn't Chelsea chaiman iirc. Thanks for that. I don't think I've ever heard of Bruce Buck at Chelsea. It would be quality to see the club run well from top to bottom. It's been something that's been needed desperately lately. Aye, slightly worrying though when you read about unpaid bonuses in his other businesses etc. Apparently shareholders of his Sports Direct (or whatever it's called) group are saying he should be paying full attention to that business and not getting distracted by NUFC, as the value of shares is currently about 2/3 of the flotation price or something. I heard something about that but was immediately questioning the integrity of the comments. Nothing was a direct quote and I wouldn't put it past certain parts of the media to knock us given half a chance. The bloke seems to be managing his businesses quite well given the amount he made when he floated it. He was bound to make money on flotation though, wasn't he? It's what happened since the flotation that seems to be concerning the shareholders. I'm not saying he's coming along here to fuck things up or owt, as I think if he puts the right people in place he could make a success of the club, but there's the odd alarm bell ringing from some of the stuff you hear. So you would be happy for FF to carry on dragging this carcass of a football club on his shoulders forever backwards, or do you see a fresh start is needed. FF has become too powerful and believes he is more important than the club, he has meddles with too many things, and he has had more than enough time and chances to move us forward, a breath of fresh air this, new manager and owner, with the debts written off and a cash injection could be the catalyst to step back upto the dizzy heights of the premiership we want
  19. New manager new owner, new chairman ? all in one week......?
  20. according to talk sport, if ashley gets 51% he gets full control, and even if ffs refuses to sell he will only be a sidelined muppet, not the mouthpiece he has been. today has finished on a high
  21. could this be, good timing or what, the ball is now in shephards court, will he hang on and spoil everything again, or be a true fan and do whats best for the club and bugger off
