1. Here we go.... Now this might be quite hard after yesterdays match... No one really stands out to me, absoloute shite game, crap reff, blind linesman and shit stewards. Might change my mind after I have seen it again on TV, then again I might not. 1. Parker - Kept it going in midfield, by no means his best performance but ok. 2. Duff - kept going all game but had very little to work with with Martins up on his own for the most part and then Luque on his own, created a few things, still more to come from Duff though. 3. N'Zogbia - played at left back for the second half and did some decent stuff and a few nice runs forward, did a lot more than Babayaro did in the first half and actually looked like he gave a shit compared to a number of our players.
2. Did you watch the highlights? Just get your vote in anyway....

Long Weekend

I'm working most of the weekend, in here till 11 tonight.. Off to Villa tomorrow and then back in here again on Monday. Great.
7. Sounds good, but I don't buy that for a minute. It wouldn't be the first contradiction this week, didn't Roeder say on the Radio interview earlier this that it was important to find the correct age of Martins for the sake of future transfer fees ? He then says yesterday that any rumours about Oba's age was insulting. 185701 I thoght Roeder just said that it is important we make all checks on the player as we would with any player we were looking to bring in?
8. We had blue a few years ago....
9. Same for me.. Duff Milner N'Zogbia
10. Player of the year again, same as last year apart from I will actually do this and update it every week this time round. Just rate your top 3 from our game with Wigan last weekend.. For me, Shola - made one and scored one N'Zogbia - made one and gave us that drive from midfield we needed and filled in well at left back when Baba was crocked. Parker - got himself a goal and a pretty solid display in central midfield. Post your top 3 below!
11. You gonna set it up again? 185353 I could do aye, I'll certainly do it every week this time as I am now a tax dodging student and no longer working full time and also because Souness has gone! 185402 starting from the villa game then? and do you have to actually see the game to be post your ratings 185410 Well should we do just league games? Or Europe too? I'll post the wigan thread now.. I'm sure most people can remember back a week...

13. It would be good to do it and keep it going.... Died a bit of a nasty death last time though!
14. 170889 I don't think he was at the AZ v Arsenal game to be honest, I'm told we had someone there but Roeder and Bond were pictured in the crown towards the end of the Man United v Porto game by Sky Sports.

19. Well ....... YOUR BOYS HAVE JUST TAKEN ONE HELL OF A BEATING!! Having managed the Toon, Forest, Celtic and England and won things with all I find my self at anfield... Took over a mid table team in december of the previous season, finished 4th and won the FA Cup... Well into the second season with liverpool and so far so good, top of the premiership but not going so well on the CL front after defeats to Benfica and Real Madrid... And so I travelled to Real in a must win game for me to go through to the next phase... and boy did I win... What a win, one of my best ever! Amazing!
20. Thats no SWP man, get a grip.... It's Jermaine Defoe!
21. As pointed out the player of the year died a death, I blame Souness for the lack of interest and just general shitness of watching the toon... but we are back... we need ratings from the following games to catch up.. so.. if you can remember.... please copy and past and fill in your top 3 Spurs (away) LOST 2-0 Boro (home) DREW 2-2 Fulham (away) LOST 1-0 Blackburn (home) LOST 1-0 Man City (away) LOST 3-0 please see other thread for Pompey. Pompey thread - http://www.toontastic.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=3858 Have a look here for player ratings etc etc.. N/O mind.. http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcratings/ I've got work first thing so I need to go to bed now but I'll put mine up tomorrow and get the table updated as soon as I can. Sorry for it dieing a sudden death!!
