From what I've seen of Townsend I'd be surprised if he turns out to be anything better than a poor man's Walcott.

The closest thing to Viera this league has seen was Toure two years back. And he's never been as consistent as the Frenchman. Sissoko not even in that league. Although he thinks he is.

And have been trying harder than some of the other so called seasoned professionals.

This bloody club We can only hope we can manage to replicate some of this effort against other teams. I'm not counting on it. We've already taken points of Chelsea and Man Utd. Anyway great to see some effort for a change. Liverpool were rubbish. We got a bit of luck at long last for the first goal. The second was absolute class from Sissoko and Wijanldum.

Well they're trying so far at least. As we mostly do in these fixtures. The lack of quality is still quite evident though.
