Nah its more like seeing something about him that makes you think he can be an asset. An ability, an attribute that could make the guy shine. For instance with people like HBA, Santon etc even when they weren't playing well you could see there was some serious ability there that just needed time to come out. Anyway Im not judging him yet. I said a better footballer, not defender. Meant his passing is better, more comfortable on the ball. He's not dead scared of the ball like Simpson is. Actually Im not sure about the defensive part either, Simpson's positioning is bloody awful. What hurts Taylor is his complete lack of pace which was exposed in games like the one at home against Chelsea.

Bit harsh on Taylor methinks. No doubt he's better with Colo around and not the imposing player we all wished he would but when he burst onto the scene as 17 year old. But comparing him to Willo is an insult. He's miles ahead of him. Thats no compliment anyway.
