BEEB 1547: Breaking news: Wigan have signed talkative French midfielder Charles N'Zogbia from Newcastle on a three-and-a-half year contract. That deal is a definite and is in no way dependent on Ryan Taylor joining the Magpies.

Breaking News: There's A New Tayls In Toon NEWCASTLE United have completed the signing of Wigan Athletic utility man Ryan Taylor with Charles N'Zogbia heading in the other direction. The 24-year-old has penned a four-and-a-half year deal at St.James' Park and will wear the No.16 shirt for the Magpies. And a delighted Taylor told nufcTV in an exclusive interview: "It's fantastic. This is a massive opportunity for me and I can't wait to get started. "You only have to look at the game against Sunderland and the Newcastle fans to realise why I have signed for the club." Liverpool-born Taylor began his career at Tranmere Rovers and scored 19 times in 122 outings for the Wirral-based club. Article continues>> A £750,000 move to the JJB Stadium followed in 2005 where he netted seven goals, four against United, in 73 appearances.

Please fuck off!! I honestly don't know what people still see in Martins. He's fast and he scores goals out of nothing from time to time. His all-round play is fucking awful imo and has a massively detrimental knock-on effect for the rest of the team because the ball never sticks to him. What he said "a massively detrimental knock-on effect for the rest of the team " we've been playing well without him have we? he fast he scores goals he's young and he seems to be more noticeable than any other striker we have at the club, sorry i think he's a decent player and would be a damm sight better if we had a decent attacking mid who could pass properly and slide things through for him to run onto That only strengthens the argument for Bent, you'd put your mortgage on him one-on-one, you'd put your pocket money on Oba.. Would i fuck like! But you would only risk two bob on Oba...

We are the geordies, the geordie boot boys, for we are MENTAL for we are mad, we are the loyalist football supporters...The woooorld has eeeever had! You not included? Actually gemmil, 7 is about rite IMO if that makes me mental so be it, rather that than a miserable bastard. He wasnt outstanding, but he wasnt awful neither, showed some nice touches, linked up well at times and stayed calm and collected to score a quality penalty. He was slow, and did canter about, but he's not played for 6 weeks remember? Do you rate Shola as a decent player?! Tbf he showed bollocks and converted the penalty, but apart from that he was useless. Fucking pathetic. Iv not ONCE said he was a decent player, i like alot on here feel he is seriously inferior. All i was merely stating was i dont think he was as bad as people are making out today. He hasnt played for 6 weeks and scored us a CRUCIAL goal for fuck sake! Just a question mate, as you tend to defend a vast majority of our players. Of course he scored us a crucial goal, of course I've got respect for his courage to take the pen, but once again: Apart from that he was an useless twit, not giving a fucking shit on moving, going for the ball or getting himself into positions. I can't understand how soon some people are content with performances from players who earn that amount of bloody money. EDIT: Overall he IS garbage. IMHO Duff, Carroll, Butt and Nolan were worse. People are giving Lovenkrands a pat on the back when in reality he did fuck all except put a bad cross in that happened to hit the bar. Jonas was excellent and got in to some great positions, but once again contributed fuck all and his crossing and shooting is nothing short of pathetic. Shola had a reasonable game, by no means his best by no means his worst - and because he runs like he doesn't care he gets pelters. At least he contributed something meaningful.. Only agree on Butt here tbf. In which case give him the dogs abuse!! As has been sad previously Shola has been out for weeks and he's been asked to play the 'little man' to Andy Carrolls 'big man', a role which clearly is not suited to him.

Some of the criticism of Shola is ridiculous. Too many falling in to the trap of confusing his running style with his attitude. He's been out for a few weeks, he took and converted an INCREDIBLY pressurised penalty, some of his interplay was excellent and his first touch was better than it's been for an awfully long time. He missed a couple of chances, but certainly no 'nailed on' chances. Furthermore all the talk was about Martins coming back for this game not Shola, ask yourself where that kid is in our hour of need....

Howard Webb was a shower today. The penalty was a joke, and he should have shown Bardsley a yellow card for a bad tackle on Guttierrez when (to be fair to him) he played a good advantage with Jose overlapping.

The way City haggle these days that'll take a while.... MH: How does 60 grand a week suit you? SG: Well I was hoping for a little more.. MH: Ok then make it 120 grand a week? SG: Thanks

I thought the first half of the first series was great, that enthusiasm saw me through to the end of series two. By then I felt that I'd invested so much time in it that I can't stop. I have no answers all I have is questions. The same applies to Shameless by the way... Talking frickin babies!!! Frank Gallagher sober??? WTF?
