I thought that I would be able to fashion something but alas no... Harper Steve Watson - Stevie Taylor - Chris Armstrong Cheryl Cole - Carrick Andy Carroll -

That's why they can afford to let him go.... Nolan has made 323 appearances for Bolton since his debut in 1999, and earlier this week Megson signed another midfielder, Mark Davies from Wolves.
-
Not sure about DOF. It's very odd that they'd club would sell there captain, for not a massive sum, 3 days before the window shuts. He's played every game this season.
-
Why woudl Bolton sell him... Maybe we are stepping aside for them to get Veloso

Not sure that many scousers can be in the same room without a fight breaking out..

Is in tatters... But our Scouser XI is coming along nicely... Nolan Taylor Barton Guthrie Owen

Aye, if you watch the interview he actuallly tries to correct himself but still doesn't get it right, then says.. "Er Charlie"...

I wouldn't be surprised if Insomnia was his nickname (behind his back). It's probably what Andy Carroll calls him!!!
-
Look at Duff yesterday, why didn't he put his foot through it the cunt? It was a truly, spectacularly, ridiculously, hideously, awful decision... As was the referees for Micah Richards tackle on Taylor. In American Football, it would be high fives all round for defensive work like that!!
-
Did Lovenkrands not spend a lot of his time at Rangers up front? Given the durge of strikers we've got I expected him to play through the middle last night and duff would drop on the right.

Surely he's immune to that.. After all he no doubt occasionally visits the odd Sports Direct!!!

Nah.. I'll be living on the top of Ben Nevis trying to escape the rising sea levels, the salt from which is eating through your 23tb/m fiber laser optic cables.

Agree with the Hips here. I thought the story was told very well, there was always that Titanic feeling in the back of your head, don't get too attached to the character cos they'll end up in the freezing water!! The scenes with Hitler were quite haunting!! -
I would say it's the same as strikers i.e. plenty bodies but only three of them any good. In fact we've only got two CBs who are any good. the question is.. Is Stephen McManus any good?

Cudicini's signed for Spurs which puts an end to the Harper to Spuds talk...
-
Personally I'd only let him go if we get a player in return. Michael Johnson and/or Ohuoha (sp) would solve problems in other areas of the pitch. Whilst in an ideal world I would want to keep Shay, I reckon strenthening elsewhere is more likely to keep us up. Problem is that players aren't exactly falling over themselves to come here.

I really cant see Hull paying that much wedge like...
-
Not exactly what we need but any swelling of the ranks can only be a good thing.
-
I think that we are really in need of somebody who can deliver a free-kick. IIRC we haven't scored direct from a free kick all season - I doubt there is another team in the league in that situation. In previous seasons Robert, Solano, Shearer and Emre chipped in with goals and/or very good deliveries.

FM09 - Newcastle All English Challenge

On a different note.. I have FM07 on the PSP and I got to the 2016 European Cup Final. 22 players were selected for Euro 2016 and were ineligible for the game. Three players came in to the squad. I had 11 players and no subs, Tim Krul playing up front and another keeper on the right wing. Won the game 1-0 against Ajax with Anderson getting the winner. Ridiculous -
There is literally nothing about the football club that I have any great love or respect for or have any connection with. The manager, the chairman, the director of transfer non-negotiations or any of the players. Whilst FFS was in charge, you could at least see that he was a geordie and a fan. While Shearer was playing, and we were shit, you at least felt proud that he was captain and chose to play for NUFC for purely emotional reasons. Geography aside - what is there to love?
