  1. No, it would only encourage you. So you're backtracking on the whole 'you don't know' issue? What do you know then ? What are you on about? Good answer. No. That was a question. No, I think you'll find you responded to my question with a further question, as usual. Whereas you answered my question though... So getting back to it, you are not willing to admit that you don't know that Allardyce's past actions will incur punishments on NUFC ? And you can answer the original question and show me where I said I did know
  2. All but the bottom two are worth asking. Too many managers are just being dismissed without even being asked.
  3. Well cheers Skol, let's take a look at what an improvement people thought Roeder was at the time... http://www.toontastic.net/forum/index.php?...ic=3958&hl= Holy shit!! Sounds VERY similar to what's being said about Allardyce now tbh. Time will tell. Thanks for resorting to insult though. interesting read Don't know, this was rather anti-Souness than anything else... At this point nobody saw him as the next permanent manager tbh. I wanted Roeder as a caretaker and, as I was well aware of his limitations, did not want him as the full time manager. No contradiction there. Interesting that the Allardyce nay sayers are so far unable to come up with a feasible alternative and are unable to name a premiership manager with a record worse than Roeder's. Now who's sounding like Leazes? Keegan, SBR, Mourinho, Ferguson, Wenger, Benitez - All had never managed in the Premiership before And why is Klinsman not a 'feasible' alternative?

  9. Charlton were fined £5m quid for a 'mix-up'. What exactly do you think the punishment would be for fraud? Presumably as we'll be finishing in 6th next year a 3 point deduction would have no effect though. What exactly would NUFC be guilty of ? Guilt by association? Rank hypocrisy? When was the last time a football club has been deducted points for either of those "crimes" ? outside of your dreamworld anyway. Never, because bungs have never been investigated properly until now. What happened in George Graham's case? How did that impact his employers? Eerr they employed Arsene Wenger and have never looked back ? your point is ?? What are the risks to appointing Allardyce, and why is no-one talking about them. Was it not clear? Again, what are the risks ? Fines Point deductions Enforced manager replacement [more] public ridicule and shame International disgrace UN sanctions How would Allardyce's activities at a former club be a threat to NUFC ? You tell me. I don't have a finger on the pulse at the Premier League. I don't know what's in the Stevens report. I don't know what Fat Sam's been up to with us or any other club. You do remember one of the implicated agents had an office in SJP? Thats right, you don't know, shame it's taken 2 pages for you to admit it. What are you talking about admitted it? When did I ever say what would happen? Jesus wept man. Good answer If it is, it'll be the first one in this thread. Another one!
  10. Klinsman. It's not who I want, it's the fact that yet again we have searched high and low and come up with the easy option, and now that we've had Souness and Roeder, everyone is happy to accept a man who frankly had no support a few years ago, and has a distinctly dodgy past, with virtually the same team in place. I certainly know that the options are restricted to the usual suspects - Hitzfeld type unobtainables or Bruce type no fucking wayers

The culprit in West Ham's case isn't even at the club any more, he wasn't even called to give evidence!

  23. As far as I know since the implications were made by agents featured in the programme he can't technically sue the Beeb. Don't know, don't care. Possibly, but I bet we're involved in one or two ourselves. I doubt it. See above. The only standards Freddy has are double standards. Last info was Sam's lawyers had told him he had a concrete case to sue. There's a post on here already setting out Gartside's intentions. Us being implicated in the transfers as well as Sam - how is that a mitigating factor? They can lump the fine together or something and we get a bulk discount?
