I appreciate that there is no game this weekend but whatever needs sorting needs sorting sooner rather than later... We have a bunch of players who, lets face it, are probably as much in the dark about all that's going on as the rest of us. The new boys must wonder what the fuck they've let themselves in for!!! Match preparations take longer than over night - this needs to be sorted before some of the squad disappear on international duty for the weekend so that we're in the best possibly position to be prepared for the Hull game on Saturday week.. Despite the fact that I am fully behind him, I hold Keegan as responsible for ensuring this happens as I do the board. The fans deserve better than this and I think it is that which is stopping KK from simply walking away as he can relate to us.

My take on it is we've had an identical situation to the one we had immediately following the Swindon game back in 1992. KK's had enough of being fucked about and has offered his resignation, of that I have no doubt whatsoever. Today's carry on has been negotiation and the motley crew at the top, realising what losing KK would mean in terms of the reputations with the fans and doing whatever they can to keep him. In short if he does stay (and it's a big fucking IF!), expect to see a smack-load of funds in January to invest in players. Keegan relates to the fans, knows how pissed off we and echoes our sentiments. Above all he wants the best for the club. I fucking hate the transfer window because if it wasn't around now, i'd expect him to go on a spending spree this week. Might be bullshit, but there may well be an element in truth in it hence why the meeting has gone on forever and that we've heard nowt.
