Oh sweet jesus... how fucking pathetic are they making us look?
-
Don't want Shearer but even if I did, I wouldn't want him coming in working for these arseholes.... They'd break him just like they've done so to Keegan.
-
Sounds pretty evident to me as though nowt was changing though...
-
Just when I thinkmy jaw can't drop any further... Desperate to keep him like, weren't they? Fucking arseholes - get the fuck out!
-
FACT. When he left in '97 you always felt there was unfinished business on his part and that one day, he'd be back. He'll not make that move again. I'm fucking fuming!

go to the hull game, fill the fucking stadium and give 90 minutes of there's only one Kevin Keegan. By the way, so long as Mike Ashley and his cronies are at the helm, no decent manager is going to even want to look at coming in here. We're resigned to having shite or someone who is 'within their crowd' They've had a chance in the last 48 hours to fix this sorry mess and it's evident that Wise has been put before Keegan by Ashley. Get the fuck out - you're not welcome.

I don't know how everyone else feels but when Shepherd was running the club and carried out one of his major gaffes, I used to console myself in the fact that he was, above all a fan who had a genuine love for the club and the basis of his actions was heartfelt. The current regime are definitely NOT fans - they're businessmen. They appoint Keegan, not because of the passion, excitement, style of football that he'd bring back to the club but simply because they knew it would whip the supporters into a frenzy. Season ticket sales would be up as would merchandise etc. In short, they were using him as a means to make a quick buck - they've totally ignored what he meant to this club, this city and the fans and more importantly, totally disregarded what they meant to him. Keegan may have been born in Yorkshire, but he was a geordie at heart from his roots and it showed through and through. The way he's been treated this last 8 months is an absolute fucking disgrace and I for one will never forgive them for it. People outside the area knock Keegan say he has his flaws which he may have. But the bottom line is, Kevin Keegan was perfect for Newcastle United and Newcastle United was perfect for Kevin Keegan. I've gone through some hard times following this club over the last 26 years. The failure to keep Arthur Cox, the sale of Waddle, Beardsley & Gascoigne, relegation, play-off misery, almost going out of business and the succession of bad boardroom decisions starting with the dismissal of Sir Bobby, but each time I've just got on with it - accepted that this the nature of the beast of loving Newcastle United. Today, for the first time ever, I just feel empty. I hope to fuck those five (Ashley, Llambias, Wise, Jiminez & Vetere) are already packing their bags in readiness to leave.

Take it he didn't want Xisco then...
-
It may seem like a bit of a knee-jerk rant at the moment, but this succintly sums up exactly how I feel.
-
At a moment like this can I try to inject some humour? Top bloke you know... Cutting back to the chase, anybody but Dennis fucking Wise. Fuck off you horrible little turd.
-
Absolutely fucking gutted Getting him back was a one in a million chance and those above him have fucked it up completely. I look forward to hearing what he has to say. As for the pricks now running this club - move on please.

Incidentally, has anyone got a link to the youtube clip of the program? I think it was posted ages ago but I can't find it http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...mp;#entry474587 Cheers HF - no longer available though -
Christ - welcome to 1996!!

If they go down that option i think there will be mutiny no matter what they do. Even the arrival of Mourinho probably won't mask the bitter discontent among the fans. If we look at it subjectively, the sacking of Big Sam was dodgy - nothing was really said about it though because 1) in general he wasn't well liked and 2) they replaced him with Keegan. They pulled the ultimate master-stroke 8 months ago in appeasing the fans by re-appointing the Messiah - quite how they managed to persuade him to come out of retirement deserves praise as it is! If he leaves however, they've played the ultimate faux pas and I don't think it matters what they do to try and patch it up, the fans will never be on-side with them again. He literally does have them by the balls and I pray to fucking god they don't play arrogant.

-
the petition or Danny's weak wind up attempt? This is a little knee jerk of True Faith, we're all in the dark as to what's gone on.. Ashely isn't even in the country FFS, not sure how much of this can be laid at his feet. Where the fuck is Ashley then? Out of the country I'm guesing...
-
What's wrong with it Craigie? This...
-
Agree totally with what Glenn is saying... sadly, he'll just be viewed by everyone but the supporters as another bitter ex-manager.
-
For once I am reading something by True Faith and totally disagree with the angle they're coming from
-
What I was thinking but didn't want to say.... Would you let your kids loose with him? Not a chance!
