  1. he will do shit man. only went there to go on a dog pillage.
  2. good call by the club, hopefully it get generate a good atmoshphere, especially with that gadgie singing the blaydon races before kick off. and we did spend the scarf money man, on raylor and fat nolan.
  3. ok lads and lasses this post is just for a bit of light hearted fun going of some of the reactions to my post the other night. It is friday night so everyone should get out there and crash them parties all the weekend, the more crashing the more optimistic you lot will be, come on you can do it hopefully this will lighten the mood
  4. £30 million! can't blame the players for how much they cost can you? saying that I know we do it with collocinni and xisco. Berbatov is a good player though unlike these cunts well no but it factors in to whether or not they are good signings, its the only point actually made in that "article" against colo, they don't even mention how shit he is i take your point because even when I wrote out my first reply I was thinking I have sat and shouted fucking hell man 10 bastard million on you more times than not watching newcastle so I kind of contradicted my own arguement straight away

  6. berbatov has been ok id say. he came in jan too so would take some time to adapt. he links a lot of man utds attacking play together
  7. Lua Lua probably isn't good enough. I don't think he's playing regularly for Doncaster. The youth set up at Everton is far superior to ours, one of the best in the country-if not the best. So far this season though, Saylor, Shola, Edgar, LuaLua, and Carroll have all come through the ranks to play for the first team. Not great, but not the worst. arsenal have the best youth set up in my eyes,if Nile was at arsenal im sure he would of been scene in the carling cup or even a few premier league appearances there is no way arsenals youth set up is the best in the country they buy everyone elses young players man. maybe best scouting but not best youth set up. I would say in terms of youth set up it would go everton, man city, west ham, middlesbrough. lets see if man city keep bringing through good youngsters though now they have loads of cash to burn arsenal have lots of really young players like, wiltshire, gibbs and simpson there still 17,18 they have loads of class coming through believe me! i still think the other clubs are better than arsenal at bringing through their own youngsters. I think a lot of arsenals youngsters will go the same way as upson and bentley and have to leave the club to get regular games
  8. for me the problem with ronaldo is that he now loves himself, thinks he is the best in the world. no one is allowed to touch anymore or he spits his dummy out. over the course of this season im sure i can remember 2 times he should of been sent off, i think it was against fulham and spurs. admittley i dont watch much spanish league but when i do i only ever watch barcelona, but i couldnt compare because i have not seen much of messi this year. I just wanted to give my opinion why I think ronaldo has been a dissapointment this year compared to last.

  10. I dont care what he is on, he is on fat mikes money and is doing it for the cause.
  11. sounds to me the only reason keane wanted the job after reading the bbcs report. I did however have a chuckle when it said he has moved to east anglia but never did move to sunderland while he was manager. Can you blame him for that really?
  12. You going to Watergate this Friday or next? next friday. hope my student loan doesnt delay, or my partying will be seriously curtailed.
  13. just think free voul a vounts and skol lads you can do it come on, get that optimism back! (in reality it was more hofbrau and wurst, but voul a vounts and skol sounds funnyier)

I've said this in other threads, but just to be clear - I dont rate Duff either - he's been a massive disappointment. However, he is at least a natural left winger, who (far less than he should) does occasionally get his head right and make proper runs down the wing, beating a man - particularly when he links up with Enrique. We need wingers to get crosses in and make decent passes to our forwards (of which we'd have 3 of on the pitch) and Duff is a winger. I know Jonas can play left or right, but Duff is even less effective on the right. That leaves Jonas for the right - who, admittedly; seems to suffer from the same lack of belief in beating a man and the same ability (or lack of) to put decent crosses in as Duff. They are both still our best winger options though ( ). Barton or Smith are far worse options on the right than Jonas. So, if we are to play 3 at the front, we either play 3 in the middle with Owen linking the two (moreso near the forward line though); or we pack the midfield and play 3 at the back. I'd say going with the former is a better idea as I'd not drop Saylor or Bassong and Beye/Enrique are essential at right/leftback. The team picks itself really. I wonder though, if Big Al will pick Butt over Guthrie/Barton - partly because he's at least match fit and also because at least he's shown some fighting spirit and does he deserve to be dropped for a 1/2 fit player? problem is if your going with a midfield 3 you cant have 2 winger in there. you could maybe get away with a so called winger like jonas because he gets stuck in but we all know duff does not. even put butt in there, he gets stuck in too. in my opinion if you have 3 forwards you need to have 3 grafters/hard workers and maybe one who can pass, but owen done all the passing last season I would say the 3 behind him just battled for the cause. the onus is on the full backs to provide the width in a midfield 3 and forward 3. I think Habib and Enrique can do this too. This is how this formation papered over the cracks for keegan
  15. worked with a brummie in america for 3 months and he totally bored me to shit. said nothing to even make you laugh everything was in monotone brummie nothingness.
  16. i still fail to see why lua lua has not his chance. look at teams like everton they are always bringing young kids through. I also agree with your point I dont see why young kids come to this club other than the wonga

harper beye saylor bassong enrique smith/barton guthrie jonas owen martins viduka i would say there is enough fight and battle in the middle of that team and leaving most the shite out of the team. I cant believe the stick butt and jonas take on here, but duff is totally 1 footed, cant beat a man, every defender knows he will never use his left foot, he is weak as piss too, my granny could knock the fucker of the ball. seems like people seem to think duff is one of our 'better midfielders' but i fail to see it
  18. well it made me more optimistic so i thought i would share it
  19. this thread has cheered me up and I can now say, I too think we are staying up, I even gate crashed a party tonight, and they gave me free beer and food. This makes me believe our luck is turning around, I know that sounds weird but I believe now
  20. swap duff for barton or smith and thats what i would go with. i would not even put kevin nolan on the bench apparently according to .com he didnt look best pleased at being taken off apparently. I am sure i read this
  21. our superstar midfield - spurs - 1 billion pound - they do like midfielders there dont they im sure they used to have a plethora of them

I'd do that although Barton might be struggling in which case I think I'd play Butt and have Barton on the bench (not ideal but I prefer the former to Nolan). I'd also play Steven Taylor at RB, Duff at LB and have Beye and Bassong in the middle. if barton is not fit can i advocate alan smith for the role instead of nicky butt and kevin, fat plodding bastard i am a footballer honestly nolan? i know alan smith is not ideal but he can move and attempts to get stuck in. not ideal like....

we should try 4 - 3 - 3 again next monday night with owen playing the deep lying keeganator role. martins and viduka up top. with a midfield 3 of jonas, guthrie and joey barton. and drop the other shite fuckers from the midfield. maybe then owen could get some bastard bullets
  25. was not complaining about the result mate we were gash, just stating i couldnt tell if the whistle had be blown before or after from the stream that is all. we deserved nothing from it, we have to up our game somehow for next monday. or we are doomed. now were 60% doomed id say, that would rise to 90% if we dont win next monday night.
