His goal record for Enland overall tells you how good a goal scoerer he is at international level, there aren't many better. In this tounament however his shooting has been beyond shite and he has wasted arguably 10+ decent chances and is lucky perhaps to have kept his place.

Well i wasn't far off with my 2nd half prediction! Much better second half, and Carrick makes a a big difference with his passing. And Rooney got better and better as the game went on and looks as if he could be in the form we need from him right at the time we need it against the better teams.

Despite the pretty poor performance i'm going for 2-0 to England in the second half with goals from Beckham and Rooney. And Becks needs to do something because his set pieces have been shite today and that is the main reason for having him when he isn't playing so well.

Very crap to be fair! Great tackle by Cole to save a certain goal and the possible nudge on Cole when he went for a header + the handball right in front of the box (and the ref) which went ignored are about all we've achieved. Carrick has done his job, got the ball and passed it nicely and accurately to feet, but some of the others still doing to many long passes.

"Britons" handed tough draws at Wimbledon

You may and you won't be the last! And this time with a chance of no Brits being left after the second round alot of people won't be giving a shit about it either! -
That statement is sadly and depressingly completely true!

It would appear you haven't and you as ever don't know what you're talking about, but keep that great big chip on your shoulder evident for us all to laugh at.

Its definitely worrying that Murray seems incapable of lasting a full match. He's young and should be fit and full of energy yet as soon as a match goes to any length he gets cramp/ill/injured and struggles to a defeat. He also need to get a coach in soon as he needs guidance and somebody to work on improving his game and certainly his stamina and fitness. -
Just Poll showing that English refs are "the best in the world" as we laughably hear every season when they have a run of absolutely bollocks decisions and are backed by some ex ref on tv/in the press. Mind you the Emerton second yellow was one of the few things he got right, it was deliberate and Emerton knew as he walked off without complaint.

Well he'd have his pick of skillful players over there to try and end the career of, which he always enjoys!
-
To be fair its seems Dr. Nick was hired for Owen's last operation as who else in the medical profession would have put the wrong fecking screw in his foot!
-
Shame, the more international games he's suspended for the better for NUFC as he won't miss games, be tired for games or get injured and miss games!

Agree with that, like Henman but he won't stand a chance againt the master and he is suffering from his recent record leaving him unseeded and facing Federer so early. In terms of Wimbledon Henman has been incredibly unlucky as his peak years happened to coincide with a freak in Sampras who was unplayable at Wimbledon or Henman would have had 2 or 3 Wimbledons because at his best he was excellent on grass courts. Then you had Goran's shock year and after that Henman has been slipping from his best and Federer is now unplayable at Wimbledon! -
And you being bitter about England, what a surprise. Read Isegrim's post above you, he knows what he's talking about, and theres nothing wrong in an England fan stating that we've just got a big mention there when the worst trouble so far (such as it was) didn't involve the English. Seems like the Gremans have been excellent in dealing with trouble, mostly by preventing it before it starts as well as dealing with quickly and efficiently (who'd have guessed!) it when it has kicked off.

Had a go, my average was 0.1282, though it was helped by the one i managed to hit on 0.000 seconds! Just seemed to see the tiniest movement and fired it and apprently hit it instantly! Of course it could be that i fired one without having seen anything at all and it hit literally as the sheep started to run.

Ref definately has a case of big team/little team syndrome, wuite happy to book the Mexicans but refuses to book argentinians for same or worse fouls. Very impressed with mexico, they have touch, skill and flair combined with a premiership kind of high tempo, workrate and last ditch tackling. They've shown whatever happens people shouldn't have got obsessed with argentina as some unbeatable team of legends before we'd even got to the quarters, they're good but not invincible. That said i think in extra time the mexicans will run out of energy and the argies will sneak a 2-1 win, probably with Heinze playing an important part in the match as he shouldn't be there!
-
That incident before half time will be controvertial. The ref will point along the line and say Heinze wasn't technically the last man, but that defender had no chance of stopping thr striker who had a clear run on goal, so i think alot of refs would have given a red card and i suspect were it the smaller team's defender rather than the bigger team he'd have got the red.
-
I fancy Mexico to start well and take the lead myself like! Have to say the Mexicans have started the game on fire, and fully deseve the lead. Hope they go on and knock the argies out!

Agree. An appalling human being. 152914 Yeah, i haven't watched much of BB, but whatever i've seen of it i can't believe anyone could remotely find her likable in any way whatsoever.

Then will have a shite game and his good work v Sweden will be forgotten. Once more he will be "shit". 152788 This decision is mental. I thought both Carragher and Hargreves especially had been playing quite well. 152793 Its a totally brainless decsion from Sven. Hargreaves put ina good game in the "holding role" so straight away Sven takes him out there to play Carrick. And instead of playing Carragher at RB he will play Hargreaves way out of positon where he will probably struggle through no fault of his own. And finally having decided to play Hargreaves there he still makes a further cock up of playing a totally out of sorts Campbell ahead of Carragher at CB! I've no problem with Carrick or Hargreaves playing in the holding role, but the rest of it is ludicrous.

Is it some new form of hypnotism, you can't avoid but looking directly into the eyes and remain looking there!

Calm down dear, it's only a Welsh dwarf! 152531 Us dwarves have to stick together!!! Just like you'd stick up for any fat ginger players out there
-
Is this the final line up then? 152474 Good point, I need definite numbers before I book it as it's going to cost £30 and I'm a tight bastid. I take it a few off that list are going to the meal but aren't playing (Cath and Scott the Hermo for 2) so could all those who are definitely playing please let me know asap, I think PM'd me would probably be a good idea. 152506 I'm just there for the drinking of alcohol before and after the match, none of this running about nonsense!!!
-
Thats the impression i'm under and why i think its a good idea. Not only for strikers but our squad in general is way too short and so, out of contract players, cheaper deals and loan signings have to be considered to add to any players we pay good money for.
-
But he can't have signed for Liverpool, people insisted he wasn't good enough and that the top clubs wouldn't touch him meaning Blackburn was the best he could do!!! Those fans who have always appreciated just how good he is knew he wouldn't be at Blackburn long if the release clause was proven to be true and it has. The fact that we didn't get him back is just another depressing incident in a long line concerning Bellamy and NUFC. We lose essentially our best player (along with Given) for a piss poor transfer fee, remain short of strikers, see him get Blackburn into the uefa ahead of us and now help Liverpool move ever further away from us. And amazingly enough he didn't single-handedly destroy the morale and team spirit at Blackburn, and he won't at Liverpool either, just as he didn't at Coventry, Norwhich and Wales, you know all those teams not managed by a lying, selfish, egotistical cockend like Souness, helped by the people who believed and backed him. Plenty of toon spoke up for Bellamy, as did ex managers, and John Carver who famously had the fight with him was at his wedding not long back and always speaks well of him. But what did any of that matter when Souness said he was a cancer. Why people think his being annoying and their not liking him, is in anyway relivent is beyond me. Anyone here think the likes of Keane, Cantona etc. are lovely friendly blokes who are nice to everyone, or more importantly did their manager and fans think what happens on the pitch counts and not give a shit about their personalities. And the final myth the Bellamy haters held on to in defence of having been happy to see us lose him was that he wasn't actually that good, didn't score enough and the top clubs wouldn't touch him, well that theory has gone as well.
