I think Alonso will go back to Renault and Kovalainen will go the other way Everything seems to have gone quiet on the Prodrive front - I was expecting some reference to it when Dave Richards had his helicopter crash but there was nothing. I keep forgetting they're in from next year... If Alonso heads back to Renault, I can see Fisi being the one to go - Kovalainen is one of Flav's own, is he not? I don't think he really has any long standing relationship with Renault apart from his year or two of testing. In reality Fisi and Kovalainen could leave, the former going to Toyota and the latter going to McLaren with Alonso and Piquet Jr. stepping in.

I find it interesting that you don't seem to think that new face Faye should be in the squad. Any particular reason for that? Because Dan only wants to use four subs.

I think Geremi is better at not kicking the heels of players and giving away stupid freekicks in dangerous positions than Butt. Neither have excelled, but for me Geremi has been the better of the two.

Some people have short memories then. Second rate compared to Arsenal, not so much compared to the football of the last two seasons. We've been second rate to alot of teams other than Arsenal! Villa, Derby, Man C etc All have looked better organised, we've just ridden our luck. I want to see good football from the off not the crap we've seen for the last 4 seasons, and I was hoping we'd see a big change but it's not arrived yet. Look at Sven and how city are playing? Exactly the same situation as us, New owners , New manager and alot of new faces! But you can already see how they are responding to his coaching and direction. Big Sam has brought in new faces but nothing new going forward from when Roeder was here.(In terms of quality service from the wide areas) Look at KK and Bobby both started off playing good stuff and they were here for the long term, Where Dalglish, Gullit, Souness, and Roeder's football did nothing to amaze me in the slightest and I think Sam's started in the same vein as them. I'd love someone to tell me when we developed a God given right to get a result in every game? I'm beginning to think that what the Mackems say about us being very fickle may be true. Allardyce has barely been in the job five minutes and already he's under pressure It's not as if he's been talking himself up either, he said before this season that he thought he'd need three years to do what he wanted with this club and transform it. The performances may not have been amazing but we're doing something we wouldn't have done last season, get results in games in which we didn't play well. Against Derby we played very poorly, i'll give you that but today we went to one of the form sides in the league and lost. Granted, some aspects of the performances were disappointing but to get on BSA's back already would be daft. Where Citeh and ourselves differ is that they've got a crooked Thai throwing money at players like there is no tomorrow whereas we've been much more astute in our dealings. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing time will tell but we've made a very good start to the season compared to previous years. If we're not looking much better come the end of the season then fair enough, Noelie et al may have a point but currently we're still finding our feet. The future is much brighter now than it has been over the past three or four years so doing anything less than getting behind the squad is ridiculous.

BSA inherited an awful squad from last season and has actually made us look half decent. He's signed his players and once certain people are back fully fit I think we'll see a different side.
