I'd be happy with Pol Pot in charge if he was willing to drag us forward and make us a success. If Ashley is willing to revaluate his strategy, put more money into the club and get rid of TCW then i'd be satisfied.

The most we've heard from him is when he was overheard by punters in that bar in Dubai saying he was going to wallop KK. Objection, your honour; unsubstantiated hearsay. Do lawyers come out and clarify unsubstantiated hearsay nowadays, like? http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/200...15875-20745414/ The Beak: 'Over-ruled, Mr Hips. Some lawyer gadgie in The Mirror has confessed Mr Labia's inappropriate comments regarding cuffing Mr Kegs.'

But would things have went that way if he was here? Fucking hell man are you suggesting it all turned to shit in the couple of weeks between Mort leaving and KK quitting? To be fair to him, the story was that Mort was fighting Keegan's corner during the 'clear the air talks' which may or may not have happened depending on if you believe Ashley or not. Plus that attempted reconciliation between Keegan and Ashley a week or two after he resigned was held at Freshfields in Mort's office. He does seem to have a bit of sway over Fat Ash and isn't just a yes man and it would be a masterful piece of PR by Ashley if he got him back because a lot of fans would give Mort the benefit of the doubt. I hope it happens just so there is someone in the boardroom I don't immediately hate
-
And he was willing to talk and listen to the fans, whereas I get the feeling Llambias has nowt but contempt for us. While I agree with you on the fact that his communication skills were better, I can help but think he's being assigned some 'messiah' status on the grounds that he was only involved with the club before we all realised what was going on. If he'd still been chairman when Keegan quit, we'd be calling him a cunt too. Of that I have no doubt. I completely agree. It's too easy to simply think that he was the glue holding everything together and it all went tits up because he left but having a chairman who told us what was going on, asked the fans what they wanted and did seem to have the ear of Ashley was a huge bonus after Fat Fred. Also, am I right in thinking Mort was the man who orchestrated Keegan's return? Ashley just seems to have surrounded himself with his drinking buddies at the minute and it gets on my tits that no one at the club talks to the fans. Christ, Keith Harris has been more vocal over the past few months and he's not even employed by the club. EDIT: Also, wasn't it an argument between Llambias and Keegan on the last day of the transfer window which led to KK throwing in the towel? When Llambias said that he "wanted to hit him"? You wouldn't get that with wor Chris. Altogether a different class of chairman

We beat 'Boro on Boxing Day back in 2001 IIRC.

Sakho? Rumour has it we've offered 8 million Euros for him. N'Zogbia is a better player than Milner, so if MON is going to go mental with a chequebook i'd be looking for at least £15 million from you lot. In the real world probably no more than half of that. You've got Milner nailed on by the way. Hard worker but a shite crosser.

To almost everyone I'd say. The only thing is Villa are the sort of club who could win 5 titles in a row, and the press would still ignore them a) cos they're from the Midlands cos Brummies are boring cunts and c) they just haven't and never will have that x factor as a club where people are interested in them and d) obviously a shit fan base too I havn't signed up to toontastic to get enbroiled in a 'big club' debate, but it does appear to me that your opinions on Villa are slightly skewed, bordering on bitter. Anyway, as far as N'Zogbia goes, I've always rated him as a good player on his day, but never had the experience of watching him consistantly. Can he play on the right as well the as the left? I read that you say he is inconsistant for you, however, without being disrespectful that's probably because Newcastle as a whole have been pretty inconsistant in the past few years. Case in point, you played Villa off the park in the second half of our game, if you played like that every game you'd be looking upwards at Europe not down at relegation (which I think would be very unlikely). However, with all the boardroom unrest and godknows what else is going on, it would have been remarkable if you had been consistant. Anyway, clearly the lad wants out, but whether coming out like this is a good way of getting his wish to a 'bigger club' or not is a matter of debate. If he had got his head down and started performing to a high level, he'd get a move without looking disloyal. As for Villa and MON, we believe if anyone can get the best out of an underperforming but talented player it is MON (although we'll 'till the seasons end before passing judgement on Milner though eh ) Welldone on beating Spurs. No, he's a left sided player only although he insists he can play in the middle. He's almost constantly talking about leaving in one way or another only to later commit himself to the club. If I remember rightly he was apparently desperate to be away and then he signed a new deal. I don't really think it's the fact he underperforms, I just think he hasn't developed as well as he could've which is probably the clubs fault. If you want someone to run down blind alleys for 90 minutes he's your man. Aye, he's capable of scoring the occasional wonder goal and he's one of the few players in our side who seems willing to run at the opposition, which is a thrill when you've got Nicky Butt passing the ball backwards all the time, but he's not that good. I can't see where he'd fit into your side. Oh, and ignore Stevie. Yes ignore me, season ticket holder since 1992 from Newcastle upon Tyne, and pay attention to teenage Wearsiders packing shelves at Lidl's at 3pm most Saturdays.

Have you got bored of Milner's stepovers yet? If by money troubles you mean an owner who says he wants to sell the club and is no longer willing to finance us then your guess is as good as mine. By the looks of things Ashley actually wants to hang onto the club and according to JFK he's going to put cash up for transfers in January, although JFK talks shite so that means fuck all.

Have a good'un Berb. I fully expect you to come back with a new barrage of shite jokes in the New Year, all stolen from Christmas crackers.
-
Rewatching the Spurs match on MOTD2 I noticed how fucking excited he got when Duff scored Oh, and i'd take a draw at the JJB considering we go there every year and fail to perform, inevitably losing 1-0. Usually to a Ryan Taylor goal
-
He's a decent player, but not as good as he or a lot of other people think he is. He is the best player we have in that position though.
-
It was a bad challenge, mind.

That's one fear I have, although if MA is telling the truth for once and JFK has full control then I really don't think he'd let him go. If he does go because Ashley & co. fancy getting a few million for him I fully expect JFK to do a Keegan, as we know he doesn't like to have a fool made out of him and he's arguably done enough in his short stint here to land him a cushy Championship job.

The Fat Pig leaves The Times...
Ketsbaia replied to Dr Kenneth Noisewater's topic in Newcastle Forum
All we need is for Louise Taylor to join that fascist rag and it'll be great -
I wouldn't have expected him to do anything else. He probably doesn't want to spend the rest of his days playing for a club which is going to be battling against relegation each season and while we have the money and guarantee of first team football we lack any sort of stability behind the scenes or plan for the future. If we kick on this season, show ambition in January and somehow manage to finish in the top half I imagine he'll be more than happy to stay. If not you can't blame him for looking at his options.

Ashley sticking his hand in his pocket at all seems crazy. The pocket where he put the change from buying Xisco with the Milner money? Do you really think he'll still have that change? Surely he'll have pissed it away in Llambias' casino

It was a shot in the dark. You said stereotypical so I thought i'd Google "Tottenham fan" to see what came up. I had a pretty clear idea of what I was looking for - a replica shirt clad arsehole who looks like he has cerebal palsy (silly hat optional). Lo and behold, that's what pops up.
-
This statement is a bit silly, we have never been out of the top two divisions, one of seven clubs to hold that honour. The bloke is a yid mug mate, not young neither he's about 36. Honestly he is the most stereotypical Tottenham fan ever, utterly blinded by delusions. I've seen more social skills on a Piranha. Is this him? "Awight ma' son! Apples and pears, apples and pairs!"
-
I know, i'd be hugely suprised if we spend anything but he does seem to fit the criteria of young and promising plus it's been picked up by loads of French football sites.
