David Craig just been on SSN talking about the Given situation. Apparently Sky wont be able to broadcast some of the pre-Hull press conference as he's went mental at the press again.

Shit I suppose it's fortunate we do seem to have a fairly decent batch of good goalkeepers behind Given in the pecking order but i'll be gutted if he leaves.

Guti and Owen both play so much better what Martins is on simply because Oba's 'pace' has the opposition on edge. As much as I slag off Martins for having nee first touch and schizophrenic finishing his mere presence on the pitch seems to cause defenders no end of problems and he can drag them out of position thus giving EMO and Jonas more time on the ball.

JFK is an average manager. He came, he organised the team, he's played uncompromising football and it has so far been fairly effective. He does make rash decisions mind, which is a bit of a pain. The Sbragia appointment could backfire in a massive way, which would be a relief for us as it would keep us from relegation. The general consensus from Mackems at work is that their new owner is refusing to put up the funds to either attract or pay for a top class manager, which isn't surprising as it's a lovely excuse for them to continue to hero worship Quinn. I personally think it's another jobs for the boys type appointment as Sbragia worked there when Quinn was a player and was brought back in by him last season.
