The second season is really difficult to get into after the first but by the end of it I thought it was Superb. One of my favourite seasons now.

Cost them £11.5m last summer and since then hes impressed for Monaco in the champions league. So obviously we expect £12m to do the job. Sounds about right!

It's a fair point, although massively ironic that CT has made it. There has been speculation about a couple of other peopple and Round is the only one who's comments actually look like he's turned us down, and that's because he wants to be the number one. I'm not saying the others haven't but it's very easy these days to dismiss any positive paper talk and while believing all the negatives (of course there is good reason for this). I'm inclinded to dismiss it all and just look at what we know. If this guy comes in (and nothing's been confirmed yet) he seems to have a good record in his short career. He's clearly well thought of and I take it as a positive that we're apointing someone based on ability rather than because he's a mate of someone. Yes the fact that he's not currently attached anywhere else means we don't have to pay anyone anything for him and I'm sure that is something that was considered, but there must be a lot of other out of work coaches that are more familar names and known to McClaren or whoever that we could have easily picked up if them being free was our only concern. I'm certainly not going to get excited like CT until I see some actually positive movement on the transfer front, but I'm still happy with this appointment if it comes off.

It's down to a willing suspension of disbelief though isn't it. My willy suspension only stretches so far though!

Maybe it's just so that they don't have to pay just yet and reduce the bank balance in the acounts at the year end. I can't really see any particular value to this other than to sell the we have x amount in the bank so that people can latch on to that and think we are doing well.

Aye I went with couple of mates to see it and two of us probably paid as much attention to watching whether she still had them on as we did anything else. TBF I still found it mildly entertaining but it's not close to being a patch on Jurassic Park.

Aye well you can't expect wholesale changes all in one go can you!

I've given up paying the subs. It makes fuck all difference as far as I can see.

Glad to see that we look like we'll have someone to take our first training session for one thing but it's also nice to think that someone at the club is thinking a bit more outside of the box and not just looking to appoint people who are known to them. Hopefully he's a good coach!

Jurassic World is pretty awful. Dino's talking to each other and that bird outrunning a TRex in 6 inch heels! Pratt is looking like a decent leading man though.

Watched the first episode of the new season of True Detective last night. Took quite a while to get into what this season is actually about but I was happy enough with all of the main characters. I can't imagine they will ever match up to Harrelson and McConaughey but I don't think many would.

Is she not one of those keepers from a table football game? I think she's wating for someone to push her handle in to move her to her right.
