I don't think there'll be a massive departure but with the state of the squad they have to spend. What was our net spend last summer? We spent about £30m on SDJ, Cabella, Riviere, Perez and the two from Forrest and didn't sell anyone did we?

Spending £30m is hardly going wild in the aisles given the current state of our squad. It's surely obvious even to Danger Mouse's best mate that what we have woefully short and we don't have a great deal in saleable assets after last season to bring the net spend down.

I totally agree with you on their record and how it should be done but I just think that for all they don't want to admit it the protests have had an effect (more than I thought they would if I'm honest) and they do actually realise people will vote with their feet if they don't follow up their promises at least in part.

I think they would like to do this but there's enough people holding off on renewing their tickets that they will have to do something concrete to try and convince them.

Seriously though I do think we will see some movement quite quickly because as the letter from Mr Tickle shows, there is clearly a concern from the club that tickets won't be sold. A lot of people aren't going to renew until they see club's talk backed up with action. I still think that chances are we'll not be doing enough to give us a squad worthy of the name but I do think they feel a bit backed into a corner so they will pull out a reasonable signing sooner rather than later,

I wouldn't be too worried about a lack of signings yet. There's plenty of time for that come August when Williamson is lining up in our first game!

How much will the average fan even know about the media furore? Those of us on message boards and twitter have seen the Journalists sniping at each other but there's a hell of a lot of our fan base who's only source of information is Sky and the local press anyway. And I know the chronicle weren't a part of the press conference, but given they're part of the mirror group, they aren't going to kick up much of a fuss. I know that they've got other journalists backs up and I agree it's not the best sign of a new open relationship with the fans and the outstide world, but I just don't think it's that big an issue.

Suggests anyone can pull on it! A mate of mine uses it and found a few lasses that he's went out with for a bit. I've met a couple of them and they weren't as advertised for my money. Aye I just googled him. Don't know if I've even seen him in anything as I've never fancied watching Oliver (might have seen it as a bairn). Certainly recognise him as that character though.

Ne idea who Ron Moody is but RIP to both of them. Lee was an absolute legend.
