Sorry he wont be missed by anyone other boldon taxi drivers.
-
He certainly had no future here under Pardew and I doubt he'll have any future here now. He won't be missed.
-
Jonas only has that place (and I fell the same) because of what he's gone through and how he's always put everything in when he's played for us. You're only thinking of Janmaat and Perez because they've looked like good players. There's virtually no chance they can ever compare to Jonas without us getting relegated and promoted again with them in the team and them losing a nad.
-
Aye it would be class. For a few minutes at least until the realisation that Ron Atkinson was now our manager took over.
-
At this stage I wouldn't mourn for any of our players. There's no connection between them and supporters any more, but I'd have them all in the team if they were fit so they'd all need to be replaced with better. And given that we're already criminally short up front that's certainly a worry with Cisse.
-
Just something that makes some sort of sense will do. I've always had a leaning more towards numbers than letters so I'm not really the one to have a go but "I can't believe anyone would risk giving John "a win would be nice, but it's all about the 3pts" Carver the Head Coach job is suicide?" is awful
-
Have you got Lee Ryder writing your sentences now?
-
Depends on what sort of investment we look to make. I've got a feeling Krul, Cisse and Tiote probably all feel their time here has come and they'll head off regardless. Hopefully Williamson, Goufrran and Squidward are on their way.
-
I'm more hopeful it won't be Carver but certainly not yet convinced. I've got mates who have cancelled their tickets who have said they're on the verge of getting them back but McClaren would put them off. Personally I massively prefer him to Carver and more than a bit over Pardew (if only for not being a complete cunt) and I like that he has a reputation for being a really good coach. I'd like to think HF's stats on his cup record will translate to something here but I'm still far from convinced he will be allowed to give the cups a go if he is appointed.
-
I've been told that the club has arranged a press conference next week to unveil the new manager who they've already appointed but not yet announced. Points to either McClaren or Carver as they're the only two we're being told havbeen spoken to.

Ayatollah probably has it nailed for Hull but that doesn't explain Stoke. Wigan as higher than Hull again makes sense in the same way and also because they have no home supporters so you wouldn't feel threatened and can sit wherever you like!

30 and .5% for me. Can't properly take the test for years yet though. Of course while asking how often you smoke it doesn't ask how many pints you have or how often you stick £20 up your nose in the toilets of some bar so it doesn't seem the most worthwhile test to me.
-
I was thinking that. If I was one them I wouldn't exactly be thrilled by the prospect of employing a 60 odd year old manager for a year. Mind you most of them inbred cunts won't be able to see past the next derby game anyway. And of course if I were one of them I'd have killed myself long before now!
-
I understand your thought process but I don't get why you think that. In your scenario you're blameless other than for trusting your kid. Similarly Carr is blameless other than for trusting Charnley. Even then a better analogy would be if you gave your kid the option of getting fillet, sirloin, rump or smartprice burgers to put in the beef wellington and thinking that while the fillet would be better, any of them would do. If he's suggesting them he's putting his name to them in some capacity. I doubt he was asked to suggest players who are obviously too weak or useless to play in the league!
-
I don't know why you have this faith in Carr tbh. What you say there isn't fact it's just your spin on the information we have. We were linked with Lacazette and Grenier so it must be true that Carr suggested them and because they've done better than who we bought in similar positions (I'm assuming Grenier has done well but I've actually heard nothing about him since we were linked) he must have suggested them as first choice but Charnley wouldn't greenlight the move. I really don't understand why Carr gets away without any blame for signing the likes of Riviere or Anita (who it should have been clear to any scout within ten minutes of watching him that he's not suited for English football) and is also expected to championing all the right people for manager and then being ignored in that too. Just because unlike Charnley and Ashley he has some football background, it doesn't make him some sort of superman in the recruitment process. He's just a normal scout with a penchant for the French as far as I can see.
-
Of course there was no effort put in. Tbf we're lucky that the person who currently falls into the category is McClaren. As Stevie says he'll be the best Ashley has ever appointed with us. Even if he is completely underwhelming!
-
Were you not saying that it was Carr that gave you faith that we were going to get one of these continental types you were predicting? Now he's to blame for us saying fuck that we'll go for McClaren because he'll be willing to accept the shit that's given to him?

I thought it was enjoyable for what it was like. Nothing in the way of plot but sometimes that's fine. 7/10 nothing more. -
They're my favourite kind of woman!
-
That's the most positive thing I've seen about the whole situation in months!
-
We've been thrashed this second innings to be fair but we have certainly contributed to two cracking tests. It, as you say, a shame it's just a two game series.
-
He's young and English. He'd probably cost more than it would to being Cabaye back!
-
Tbf I agree with what you say there. On the other hand, McClaren has succeeded in nothing since he went to Germany. I've nothing against a stable manager but he's not actually had a great deal of success anywhere. And we need something to believe in after years of shite and for most people Schteve isn't it.

Not sure Hughes is much to get excited about. Whenever I've seen Derby he's been in and out of the team and nothing that special when he's played.
