1. Anyone got a list of all the free agents? Tbh I didn't even know Trabelsi was one.
2. I would go along with that but I would just be very upset if Sir Marlon was our only striker signed this summer.
3. You mean ASHLEY COLE, LUCA TONI and SALGADO don't you? 168987 Sorry my mistake. Btw if shearershearershearer turns out to be Kris's alter ego we're all going to look rather foolish.
4. The highlights on Football First are also far more extensive than anything MOTD shows.
5. On the other hand, Real Madrid have been excellent with Woodgate concerning the injury (they've never rushed him back once, they've sent him to USA for operations, he's had a lot of rehabilitation), could be a very small chance that with him having an injury-free pre-season this year, it might have cleared over. (I should have maybe put the "very small" in bold). 168931 He's barely played since he left us though. Whether that's because they haven't rushed him back or because he's a complete crock, who knows, but the fact that they'd be willing to cash in on him suggests they wouldn't be expecting to get too much return on their medical investment by keeping him. 168945 They have changed manager about fourteen times since he signed for them though. Maybe the new regime just aren't interested in him. Not saying your wrong like just giving looking on the bright side a go. It feels funny though!
6. Based on? 168899 Based on having seen all of them play. Based on the fact that Harewood has got to the age he is now with no one ever having really taken any notice of him as a striker. Just based on fact really. 168923 Totally agree with all of that Gem. And I have seen Harewood play a lot more than just up here. 168933 Really Dk, come on source? 168940 Sky Sports and Match Of The Day do show West Ham games you know.
7. Pedro slightly ahead of Bobby Lee and Sir Les. Although both Cole and Ginola were a joy to watch in their prime.
8. I would not mind us signing Ashley Cole (£5m), Luca Toni (£5m) and Salgao for Free. It's fun this isn't it

10. Graveson and Woodgate surely wouldn't cost more than £5m tops for the two of them so this would mean we would be spending £10m on a striker. That's a hell of a lot for Harewood!
11. What's interesting on those clips (apart from his composure in front of goal) is that he actually shows some decent pace on occasion (such as when he out paces and out muscle Michel Salgado). Perhaps he is faster than he has looked after his injury!
12. Another one that had a few bad injuries. Lost his pace completely. Wonder where he is now? 168373 I'm sure he'd gone to shite before that tbh. After he was with England he just seemed to think he was some kind of sweeper.
13. There's not even a mention of any transfer activity from Anal in tonights Chronicle. It gets worse day by day!
14. Stevie Watson was outstanding when he first broke into the and given that he did this younger than any of the rest of them he was the one for me that looked like he would be the real star. Howey looked shite when he first came through (as a striker) and it wasn't until he was moved to centreback at the start of the promotion season that he finally looked like a footballer. When he did play there though he started off absolutely superb and stayed that way until he made the England squad. It all went tits up after that!
15. The rush is that we have what should be a very good chance to get points on the board early doors due to an easy start. If we miss out on this due to not having any forwards we are going to find ourselves well behind with an increasingly difficult fixture list. Thick Twat. The fat git not Laz!
16. Yet again we are showing how badly this club is being run. I cannot for the life of me understand why we didn't have a deal done before we came back to training. We have had a years notice that we needed a new striker yet we are still scrambling around with our targets seemingly falling like flies. But we have a new left winger so all is well eh?
17. I'm looking forward to the season more and more each day. Seriously though we really do seem to be showing ourselves up as a piss poorly run club. We have had years notice that we were going to need to replace Shearer and we are now in a position like this! Bunch of fuckwits.
18. Well we seemed to have ruled out just about every other striker at one time or another this summer so I am getting prepared to see a press conference where Roder and the fat man introduce Harewood and expect us to be over the moon and signing him.
19. I didn't ask for anything for free, it was part of my package when I had Sky. That wasn't really my point, any movie channel that supposedly takes quality as seriously as it purports to can't show movies in that format; it's absurd. They do have a bigger brand to think of, so shutting down the channel completely should maybe have been a realistic consideration. 167598 I'm sure shutting the chanel down was given due consideration but I for one am glad they have prefered this route. I know I couldn't consider paying the subscription fee they were charging for the quantity of programming they were offering when I am already paying for the full sky package. This way I get to see the quality films they offer which also allows me to make an informed decision on whether I want to by the films on DVD. For me, as annoying as adverts are in films they don't dammage the quality of them. If they start cutting them then I would be pissed off.
20. Modest Mouse - This Is A Long Drive
21. You can't really expect something for nothing though can you. They are providing a free channel so it has to pay for itself someway and adverts are really the only option.
22. I seem to be in a massive minority who actually like part three. Of course it suffers in comparision to the first two (without Caan, Duval, Brando, Cazale et al it's bound to) but I can't see why people think it's a bad film. Sofia Coppola is ropey in it but Eli Wallach, Andy Garcia and Joe Mantegna all put it quality performances.
23. I would say it's one of Pacino's stand out performances (well of his ott roles at least). It's almost an anti Godfather and it works brilliantly as a story of 80's greed.
24. I watched Total Recall on ITV4 on Saturday night. One of my favourite Arnie films behind the Terminators and Predator (he really should have stuck to sci fi!). I also started watching the Machinist last night but I had to turn it off when the bairn came out of the bath. Fuck me it seems bleak and the bit where Micheal Ironside gets his arm severed in the machine is a bit grusome.
25. I hate manure nearly as much as I hate the makems. Spurs are pretty meaningless to me but I pretty much hate every other team in the country to varying degrees.
