Only been able to listen to the first few tracks. It is very Modest Mousey. Although I think they're canny I was never a big fan so it hasn't really grabbed me and kept me listening. I got a few new albums yesterday so I'll give it a full listen later. I haven't got the new Broken Social Scene one yet, but I loved You Forgot It In People, so I will be soon. Anyone been listening to Ta Det Lugnt by Dungen? Swedish sing-a-long rock. Kudos to whichever DJ was on in the Forth on Friday and played Panda. 43270[/snapback] I becoming quite a fan of Modest Mouse which is probably why it's clicking with me. I promissed myself that I wouldn't put anything new on my Ipod until I had listened to everything that's on it already but I think I will stick this and Broken Social Scene on and give them a listen tonight. BSS's new one is getting very positive reviews so far so I'm looking forward to listening to it.

The Wrens - This Boy Is Exhausted Happy Face, have you listened to that Wolf Parade album yet? It shaping up quite nicely to me from what I've heard so far. I'm hoping to get a listen to some of Broken Social Scene's new one this afternoon.

That's next on my list too. The connections to Modest Mouse and Arcade Fire made it a must for me to get.

Art Brut - Emily Kane Good call, I listened to the album all the way through for the first time last night and there were a few songs I found quite annoying but Bees is a cracking track and Yeti and the last two are good also.

I am married and I'm not knocking it at all, it's just not something that I wanted to be before I was. Especially when I was 23!

Modest Mouse - Moon and Antarctica I preferred Good News at first but I think this one is going to become one of my favourite albums.

I've just aquired this myself and it sounds pretty decent so far. Definately looking forward to Tit Smoking.

Definately, can't get enough of half hour songs with no singing. Is it just me though, or do you think that Johnny Cash's singing would go perfectly with some GSYBE songs.

Must have been Django as I've only recently heard the album myself since I got a bit hooked on Post Rock after listening to GSYBE. If you haven't heard their stuff I would recommend it whole heartedly if you like Slint.
