I've got the rest to look forward to. 171857[/snapback] I would agree with Sierra Madre over African Queen but I do prefer Casablanca. The Maltese Falcon and The Big Sleep are classic Bogart for me and with the Maltese falcon you get the added bonus of Sidney Greenstreet and more importantly Peter Lorre. I recomend you stop messing about on the internet and go and watch these now.

I used to drink Snakebite when I first started drinking and hadn't developed a taste for Larger in its own. Doesn't get me more pissed than anything else. I've recently come up with the theory that warm larger gets you more pissed and gives you a worse hangover than cold. No matter how many ice cold bottles of Peroni I drink in the house, I never get a hangover and hardly pissed. Yet I have a few half warm bottles of but in the town and I'm fucked the next day.

It is fantastic but The Maltese Falcon is one of my top five films of all time. Whenever I flick onto TCM and they're playing it I have to watch it all the way through. The Big Sleep, Casablanca, Key Largo & The African Queen are all superb too. He's really good in Angels With Dirty Faces and Dark Victory too but there only small supporting roles.

I do like it a lot but it comes a million miles behind The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, Once Upon A Time In The West, the two Dollars films, Rio Bravo, Eldorado (essentially the same film as Rio Bravo), Unforgiven etc. I do like more than the vastly overated The Searchers though!

I still haven't got into this. Sienfeld is one of my favourite programs of all time too.

We should have already known everything there was to know about anyone who is even remotely a target. A years notice is more than any other team would ever need to find someone to bring in. And I know we had a different manager in for more than half that time but surely we still have the scout reports on file!

I think that sums it up pretty well. I wasn't sure whether I liked it or not right up to the end and then Just Like Honey came on and won me over completely.

Aye, I take your point - still reckon we'd be signing him more due to his availability than anything else though. The situation upfront i sreally starting to worry me (I'm feeling a bit Rentonesque tbh). 170108[/snapback] I feel like a broken record but it really is getting stupid now. There is no way we should have allowed it to get to August without getting at least one striker in (and that's before we even knew Owen was going to miss the season). If we do now get someone in (and I'm not convinced we will any more) they are going to have no pre season games to get used to their team mates or new surroundings and they are basically going to have to hit the ground running and immediately start banging in the goals. This pre season is begining to feel more and more like the one where Bowyer was our only aquisition.

It's been missing from far too many time tables for weeks now!
