1. Average is being nice tbh. He was never good enough but he always tried hard bless him.
2. Those are last away game results. We drew with Chelski last year didn't we!
3. No. He's done well as caretaker and should be thanked but is record in his previous jobs isn't promissing and I've said before I don't think he has the profile to attrack the type of players we will be looking for. Perhaps that's the fat mans idea?
4. I don't really buy that argument, because the fact is that we don't have the players to compete with Man U, Liverpool or Chelsea. And that's not Roeder's fault. Yes, they could have competed better on the day, but it's a long term thing getting us back on a par with that lot. Here's Oliver's bit from the Chron btw: 127264 I have to say that if we ended up with Roder and the scum got O'Neil I would be right fucked off. 127271 I don't think McClaren's gonna get the England job any more mate, following the lukewarm press reaction. I think Boro are stuck with him and O'Neill will need to wait for the next Premiership sacking. 127274 I meant the other scum. The bottom of the article says that he could be on his way to the great unwashed if an Oirish consortium take over!
5. And that would surprise you would it?

7. Exactly what the players will think.
8. He's already managed West Ham and Watford hasn't he?
9. If it's true I'll be the first to state my opinion that it's a mistake. We need a big name (obviously has to be a good manager too) if we are going to attract the quality of player we need to take us on to where a club this size should be. I don't think Roder has the name to get these sort of players. I would wish him well but I think it's a mistake.
10. His picking of that clown Faye in recent matches has worried me a lot. I wouldn't have him anywhere near the reserves let alone the first team. Also his handling of Luque is raising some questions. He's obviously needed some football to help him adjust and that hasn't come (obviously he has to balance dealing with this one player against getting results for the club). When Luque has finally scored and boosted his confidence, Roder then leaves him on the bench on Saturday when he could have easily brought him on. He would have had the crowd behind him, we were in a comfortable position at two nil, Shola was doing nowt (despite what the Sunday rags would have you believe)and he would have been up against the worst team we've seen here this season. But Roder just let him warm up for half the game. I fear this will have knocked his confidence right back down!
11. You're forgiven because you'd actually seen him play when you made this assessment. As to the rest of your post - I agree he should have been sent off v Spurs, and he got lucky. But I've not really got anything against someone taking the dirty approach when faced with a top striker. As long as he's still on the pitch after 90 minutes that is. I think he's looked composed on the ball (not just when compared with Boumsong), strong in the tackle and strong in the air. And he seems to make his gob go a bit which we need as well. He does make the odd daft challenge, but like I say, if he's still on the pitch at the end of the 90 I'm not too worried if he lets the opposition know what he's about. 127114 It' worked fine for Franco Baresi didn't it? Moore has looked good by simply looking like a bloke who knows what his job is. He's not a fantastic defender like Woodgate and doesn't even have the ability of Bramble. But he does seem to know how to do things like mark & be physical and he seems to be helping with the organisation. I wouldn't like to build our defence around him but he's a good solid squad player which a club like ours needs and seems to be a big improvement on the likes of Boumsong, O'Brien, Hughes and Dabizas.
12. I can understand that to an extent but Zoggy's hardly a season'd pro to move there in his place.
13. Why was he playing left wing though? He's obviously a central player which as far as I'm aware is the position he always plays. We would have been far more effective with him in the middle and Zoggy on the left. The only thing I can think of is that Roder didn't want to harm the lads chances by parterning him with that clown Faye. Roders ruled himself out of contention by playing that shit ahead of anyone else at the club (including the keepers).
14. His reaction to the manure fans when he scored in the 5-0. They didn't show it on the telly but he just stood in front of them nodding with both arms in the air with them going absolutely ape shit. Gold.
15. I admit I'm only going off what little I saw on Football First last night but it did seem that after Luque scored he started doing things right again. His touch and passing all seemed to come back. I'm not saying he did anything fantastic but he no longer looked like a frightened child. It may well be just thing he needs to get started here. Shame it's took so long like!
16. I'm absolutely made up for the lad. He will probably be released in the summer but at least he will have the memory of sticking it right up those sad bastards.
17. That's one that wor lass uses. My sister used the word fairy when she was a bairn. I still can't eat a fairy cake to this day!
18. I don't really understand it either. It's just a word. There are all sorts of names for the male genitalia (as sung by Noel Coward) but none of them particularly offend me. Incidentally, one of my female friends quite likes the c-word but cannot abide the word 'quim'. Fascinating. 119936 Along with Twat, Quim is quite possibly my favourite word. And the name of a Portuguese goalkeeper if memory serves
19. Step forward Smooth Operator...... 119757 Done. I texted him, "Seeing as you're a bloke how much for blowing out your bomb doors? His reply, "You think I'm a bloke? What you on about, I'm a girl. Wanna arrange a meet?" 119765 He obviously either has the intelligence of a makem or he's on to us and is wanting to arrange a meeting so him and his mates can give someone a kicking!
20. I'm over the moon that this is still going. Shame Pud's no David Baily. Those photos truely are piss poor
21. Right I'm off home now, I will be right pissed off if I come back in here on Monday and find you lot haven't gone through with this (the sting I mean not humping a 12 year old minger for cash!).
22. The tits were barely noticably tbh.
23. I never saw them the first time even when the photo's were still on here. Waste of two good nipples if you ask me!
24. Now this really isn't funny anymore!
25. That's more to do with people not liking you tbh!
