Good to have put a comfortable point difference between us and Fulham now. With Bolton not winning I can't see them finishing ahead of us now keeping their remaining fixtures in mind. I reckon we are more or less save already.

Get the fuck in!

Got to love Lowes' unbiased commentary though. He's right though. The booing of the fan boys is absolutely pathetic. Even if Martins had actually played well.
-
Fucking numpties booing again.

About time.

Lineup was to be expected. Unfortunately I can see the Zog sulking himself away from Newcastle in the summer.

This thread has officially been fopped.

I've upgraded tp the two teabags recently. One normal black tea and one "wellness" (silly German usage). As someone who lives in northern Germany, you shouldn't use teabags. Vile stuff. Pure leaves and a sieve tbh.

Was it viz that did the mock up Regal cigarettes ad "Reg likes 'em because he's chemically addicted to nicotine" I wasn't taking the piss btw. It's something that's struck me on the odd occasion I've seen women's football. They were thinking about making goals bigger for men to make the game more attractive, so the size should be about right. They had an interview with the Jorman 'keeper during the last World Cup about the general (sub-)standard of goalkeeping. She said that's foremost down to la ack of special training which was rather rare in Germany until a couple of years ago. So you probably get an image how it is handled in even less advanced nations.

This has to be the game plan. Seeing how much more positive people are after we just drew with Birmingham I think the atmosphere would be rocking after a positive start and an early goal. Though, I already expected this in the games against Bolton and Boro...

I say nothing.

I just had a look at it. They played matches on Good Friday and Easter Monday last year. I am pretty sure this year is just because of the upcoming international matches next week. Though with the cramped international schedule it could happen very often in the future again.
-
I thought it might be because of the international fixtures on Wednesday. Isn't there some kind of protection period of a couple of days where no league games are allowed to be played?

Nothing else for it... they're gonna have to re-arrange the wedding... I can't play out without Cath...she is the only one who can control me .... Bollocks.... you're totally uncontrollable true but at least she keeps me calm !! You want some Jorman swear words... -

3 in 3 apparently (read it on another forum). -
Their fans are total aresholes man, yet come out with this glowing reputation. I've been with Irish friends to games in Stuttgart and Munich and it were the best ever football trips I made tbh. Especially Stuttgart when Celtic fans drank the city dry - not literally but in fact - without any kind of bother. Drinking with Celtic fans in Munich until 6am in the morning was fun as well. Apart from the sectarian elements load of good songs, banter and harmless fun. I'd do every time again.

Absolutely. He is having a great season and was very good in his first season last year as well. Neuer from Schalke isn't bad either, but has been struggling a bit this year after being incredible last season. His performance against Lisbon last week was absolutely world class though.
-
Agree. Geremi wasn't that bad in the second half. His set pieces were shocking, I still wonder why they looked so good when he was playing for Cameroon. Ideally he would be second/third choice to a better player or someone like Emre (at least then I have someone to moan about too ).

That post made a lot of sense. Then I saw your sig. The leg humping at N-O is hilarious... It's a total joke like. I don't mind them loving Martins so much (possibly in a very gay way) even if I can't understand it. But it annoys me when it results in booing and having a go at other players at the matches.
-
Only if the teams below us win their games, which I don't think is likelier, Gloombadil.

I can't see them picking up too many points from these games. Not more than 9 at a maximum. Fulham have a couple of games against teams fighting against relegation themselves. But I can't see them finishing with more than 35 points in the end. So we should be more or less fine if we win at least two of the remaining games. And I really hope that yesterday's game is giving us a bit of kick start. A win would have been nice, but coming from behind, showing passion and determination is hopefully giving the players a much needed confidence boost. Keegan's attacking formation was sort of the right note of exclamation as well.

fuck off, I'm pissed. Take a taxi to South Shields and everything is ok man...

We did enough in the 2nd half to sneak it imo. It's in these games we miss a proper midfielder who can put tired and backpeddling side under pressure. Agree. That's why I still can't understand why people were that happy about getting rid of Dyer without having a decent replacement, but even worse about him breaking his leg when it was clear that this would likely mean West Ham to sign Solano as well. Without any creativity in the side you can't expect too much.
