If you've worked amongst mackems and know them, you know they're like homeless Vietnamese about 1968, the drift around and they talk about a better life, but they know everyone around them like their neighbours in Thailand have a better life, how they're perceived will never change. There might be the odd comment "we'll do this and that", but truthfully deep inside mackems I see them, the most deluded they've ever been is before the 5-1, I think they all to a man thought they had a better team and genuinely for the first time in 30 odd years come here and not only win but win well. The same day I said we'd win 6-1. I've never known one mackem be more deluded than that. Deep down ALL ANY MACKEM wants, and I must stress this, the fact they all know this deep in their soul. For mackems it's not about being in the Champions League or Europe or people around the country perceiving them as a progressive well supported club, what it's about and ANY mackem can deny this but in their heart they know it's the one truth they'll take to their grave, is coming above Neuuuuuuuuuuwcasul. That is it. They know they'll never get top players, a top manager, be well known globally because of the essence of who they are as mackems and a city. That is a place which has been downtrodden for 400 years, and the gap is getting even wider. So don't believe any mackem thinks they'll get Hiddink or even someone we'd consider shit like Mark Hughes, they know who they are, and they know what they want. To come place above us, that's why I pity them, and that's why I feel sorry for Steave Brewce.

Barton and Llambias. Two fucking of the worst arseholes ever associated with NUFC. Fair enough Barton is a despicable arsehole for his selfish comments, and responses to criticism, and he just generally is one of lifes biggest cunts. However, almost equally distasteful is Derek Llambias with these point scoring jibes using Gary Speed's death to unite supporters against Barton. Fucking what a cunt Dekka is.

The cynic in me can't help but wonder how happy they are that the fans will be too respectful of Speed to make a fuss about the stadium name....or if they do, it won't be the top story of fan involvement on the day. Even if I thought it I wouldn't have said that like. -
You'll see loads Sunderland shirts with 1 GEWCE on the back on Saturday you watch.

Why were you dreaming about him then? I feel sorry for him. He's only ever protected his club from flack regarding us. Is he a nasty bloke, a bad bloke, a complete cunt, the answer is no. He's from Walker too. So that's my stance.

Couldn't really care less to be honest. I find the people in these 50/50 areas care more while people from Newcastle just look down their nose at them. It's like Richard Branson compared to an average scouser, or Halle Berry compared to Spuggie. I pity them to be honest. I think it's harsh on Bruce leaving him hanging on till Wednesday to be honest.

Aye but a home win is marginally more likely than an away in my eyes. If Chelsea lose they've got Man City home the next week, that could be it for Villas Lobos. -
Eh? Wasnt our average points to game ratio pretty much the same after january? Pardew had a slightly better points to games ratio than Hughton and I don't think Carroll played many games for him. 3 possibly? In hindsight is that a negative a positive. The best form of Carroll's career coincided with Hughton managing him, that's another way of looking at it. When you going back to NO anyway? I'm not, I've been banned for hurting Dave's feelings. You could say Hughton got the best out of Nolan too as his goal tally went to shit after he left, more likely to be how successful the long ball stuff was with Carroll in the side. Are they still fucking banning people? It's incredible, anyone worth having they ban.

Spot on Phil. His attitude to me sums him up. Like a do you know who I am attitude, I should've said do you know I fuckin am?? The phrase pseudo-intellectual has NEVER been more appropriately used than when talking about him. I think not much gets to him like, but I think this week he is certainly licking a few wounds.

I feel sorry for Collymore and his depression I really think it's an illness that should be understood better than it is. We can all be miserable cunts, but depression is something else which is too deep to go in to. That said for me, you can only make so many allowances, Stan Collymore, is, was, and always be one of the biggest cunts ever to have played and talked about football in every single respect. However, yes it was Parry with his remarks. I don't care how depressed you are you don't hit lasses, and you don't go on national radio calling Newcastle "small" in one breath, and Aston Villa third biggest club in the country in the other.

Arguing with me yesterday, with one of sports most respected journalists the next. Why can't he just shut the fuck up for once in his life?

You know when you get a text off someone and it says [receiving text] and only shows you a bit of the message, it fucks me right off. Well I've just got one off a mate, and one his parents was quite ill, and i only got the last sentence of this message it's quite ambiguous and am fearing the worst give whats in it. Is there anyway you can retrieve the full text?

I don't see how being a spanner or an unsociable bastard effects atheltic performance like. Look at Nile Ranger or Clinton Morrison.

I didn't hand on heart know exactly what Aspergers was till I googled it there. I'll be honest I take my hat off to you here, because that is the best case of self awareness you will see in life.

I wish you weren't as robotic sometimes J69. Half of my stuff to you is "banter" but you always come back with some reply like it's a professional diagnosis. I'm sure there's a good lad in there waiting to get out.

Aye, thats the way I see it as well. Ill timed comment but I didnt really take offence to it. That's fine, but if 10 people take offence to it you say alright apologies, let alone thousands. The bloke is a fucking idiot, he'd be doing a long stretch with his axe murdering brother if he wasn't a footballer. He's a stubborn fuckwit. The irony being the parallels between you and him. How many times have you offended people on here with your rants on the 'world according to stevie' and then refused to apologise? Depends if the person I've offended is a mug or not, hence why I can't recall ever apologising to you.

You are the worst culprit for encouraging him. He genuinely thinks he is the voice of the fans cos he was on the radio once and then got a mention in the daily star! I'm just waiting for him to turn up outside the ground on SSN when Tiote gets flogged in January! Would be better than Steve Wraith. -

He was manager of Wales. Bread of Heaven is basically the unofficial Welsh anthem. The fans on Saturday couldn't sing the official national anthem Land of my Fathers (as it's in Welsh). Seems like a nice attempt from the club tbh. Seems like an attempt from J69 to have a point of view when he hasn't got one for me. I think Bread of Heaven is the perfect gesture. He was a proud Welshman, and it'll bring emotions to the fore. I was waiting for your dig. God forbid I should have an opinion on something. There seems to be some unwritten rule that because we are talking about someone's death we must not question anything, ever. I didnt realise it was that popular in Wales so that probably explains it. You never seen Wales at home in the rugby? All these big 18st ginger people get up and sing it like they mean it. Quite moving really, the Welsh might be shite at most things but they sing better than we do. -
One of the lowest things I've heard at a game of football, and if you didn't know who it was involved you could guess. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=362170&cc=5739

They rocked the ambulance too, and that was the game they were throwing cups of shit at the Man Utd fans in the tier below.
