Looks like you offered him 70k a week, he came back to us and said if we matched it he'd sign for us, we told him to do one, and he's now signed / signing for you. But yeah what you said is the same eh? What an absolute doilum. Incredible really. Honest question why would you sign for Everton over Newcastle, like try and be impartial. Players love to be noticed and Everton just aren't, Newcastle's infrastructure is far far farrrrrrrr better, than fanbase is incomparable, and Everton are absolutely fucking skint. Why would you sign for Everton over Newcastle, it's beyond delusional or any rational comprehension.
  3. That's because there isn't one. WHY would you go there, like honest, question? Why would you go to Hull by the same measure? People come here for many reasons. It has some fantastic architecture, a world renowned maritime history, a vibrancy that has always been there, a long standing cultural legacy, a fantastic war history, we even have places linked to the American civil war. The most famous race in the world watched by 10 billion, plus two football teams who between them have made it in to the most successful footballing city in England with 27 league titles between them. One of the most well known water fronts in the world, you'd be surprised how many people come just because they like the water front. There is so much more and that's without touching on the music, merseybeat and such. As much, if not more, than most cities outside of London. 10 billion So there's 4 billion more people watch it than who are actually alive, must be fuckin massive mate! Aye due to a boat that sank. Why did it have Liverpool on the side when it was built in Belfast by the way? As already explained took a leaf out of your book of exaggeration. Are you actually saying that our fantastic maritime history is due to The Titanic? I never even gave her a second thought whenn writing about our history. She was registered in Liverpool because that was the home port of it's owners, White Star Line. You really don't have a clue. Says the man who wasn't aware that only 6 billion people are alive today. Bet you were imagining little Cambodian's huddled round their black and white portables off some paddy field watching the national, you definitive doilum.

Why did it have Liverpool on the side when it was built in Belfast by the way? Their maritime history stretches to more than just the Titanic Stevie. It was the wealthiest commercial port in the world. In the same way our industrial wealth was built up on shipbuilding, theirs was on maritime trade. As for your query it was built in Belfast and sailed from Southampton but it was owned by the White Star Line who were based in Liverpool. It was up to them to register the vessel so that is why its home port was asssigned as Liverpool. I know it was built up on the slave trade, the very purpose of the city is stained with blood on its' hands. Didn't know that re:Titanic
  5. You're right trophyshy, that's including all the repeats and podcasts etc... well if one of yours can exaggerate so much, thought I'd have a go myself. Between 600 and 800 million live. 140 countries. so these 600 million who watch it live, they watch repeats of it on podcasts 17 times, absolutely MASSIVE!

  9. He wasn't all bad then. It what comes of being an important place Doc, but yeah, some would agree with your comment. De Jerrrrrmhans bombed are chippeeeeee. Important place so important it's the only city in Europe that has seen its' population half in 80 years. The most important thing it had was the passport office, but you can get them all over now. You really are a dope aren't you? You know so much about Liverpool I'm surprised you haven't heard of Kirkby, Skelmersdale and Runcorn. All overspill towns where Scousers were moved to because the city was so crowded, plus the 11,000 homes lost during the war, meaning people had to be re-housed outside of the city boundary. In more recent years economic decline has certainly played it's part in population decline but Liverpool is on the up again, live with it. Sorry, I should have qualified the important city with 'during WW2'. There are no important cities in the UK outside of London during peace time. So crowded??? It's easily the most derelict place I've ever been. Leeds, Edinburgh and Manchester are very important for the economy you absolute mong, most regional capitals are.

Bet a lot of parents are hoping their kids get BA on the back of their shirts like.
  11. Worst people in the country mate, always have been always will be, quiet as mice heads down outside the ground too.

  13. Many thousands of people like going to defunct concentration camps in Poland too. Each to their own tbh. It must be really irksome to you that though Hitler tried to bomb Liverpool out of existence , it rose up and overcame the damage he inflicted. Not the most definitive but Trip Advisor not without merit either. Top 25 UK destinations 2011 1 London (#3 in Europe) 2 Edinburgh (#9 in Europe) 3 Bath 4 Cambridge 5 Oxford 6 Stratford upon Avon 7 York 8 Inverness 9 St Andrews 10 Liverpool 11 Glasgow 12 Brighton 13 Belfast 14 Canterbury 15 Manchester 16 St Ives 17 Cardiff 18 Windemere 19 Newcastle 20 Aberdeen 21 Windsor 22 Bournemouth 23 Salisbury 24 Chester 25 Oban pmsl at that list. I'm embarrassed for you. Forgetting about what a hovel Liverpool is, Inverness!??!?! pmsl When I was there the main point of interest was a Ghwatt shop. Keep trying though. London third in Europe, as a city destination it is about 40% bigger than any other city on earth in terms of visitor numbers. Missing the point as usual I see. It really doesn't matter what YOU think of a place at all, it's about the general consensus of the visiting public and for them Newcastle is below Liverpool. I don't have to try, it's quite easy to put a bigot in his place. You constantly TRY to downgrade Liverpool but it always comes back in your face whether it's the city or the football team. You're completely obsessed with Liverpool, it's people and it's namesake football team, and very sadly for you, the city is far from a hovel, the people aren't all scumbags and it's namesake football team is one of the biggest clubs in the world, deal with it and move on ffs. I don't have a problem with London having it's top place in the world, I love the place, lived there for a few years long ago and had a great time. Complete bollocks, Newcastle regularly gets voted the best city North of London, as Chez link showed we get far, far, far more British visitors than Liverpool gets, and I don't NEED to try to downgrade Liverpool it speaks for itself pal. I don't really need to do anything apart from laugh at your links. Of course the people aren't all scumbags, even in places like Kabul and Kandahar you'll get thoroughly decent people there. As far as I can see there's only one person who speaks complete bollocks on this board and Chez's post was for the North East you thickheaded nob. I'm more than happy to do the North East Vs The North West if you like, but whether visitors come from the UK or the rest of the world Liverpool still proves more popular on the majority of lists. Speaking of scumbags, or complete nobs in this instance, I can't help but hope that you're not representitive of people from Newcastle. Well I am so pipe down, and understand your place.
  14. Forgetting the Harper thing, I think it sums their support up, 50% women and kids these days. Wonder where we came in the table, think we topped the arrest chart in all four leagues.

Cracking player, looks like the blue dippers will end up with Jay Bothroyd instead to partner Beckford. Lad on their forum claiming Beckford will score more than Ba next season clearly oblivious to the fact Demba scored as many last season in 12 games as Beckford did in 32.
  16. McFaul

    Demba Ba

Looks like he's turned Everton down for us, Everton fans on their forums saying it's because of the ridiculous wages we'll pay him They're truly such thick cunts. Nothing to do with the fact we're a bigger club, and even WITH Ashley a far better infrastructure and fan base then? I don't think there's a more deluded support in world football to be honest.

  18. Some of, the minority on this board, dont totally agree with that viewpoint. We have looked silly for quite a few years paying mega wages to the useless Mark Vidukas and Alan Smiths of this world and many many more. A calamity jane of an owner true, but one who at least seems to be finally bringing some order back to the club. Most of us will judge this window once it is finished but quite a few realise that we've probably had the best out of Nolan. He played well in the championship in a pretty decent side, playing decent football. How he will fare two years later in a poorer side with the destroyer of football as manager...... I will wager if you pop back onto this forum in August we will all be very excited and very confident about the season ahead. I'll be back mate. I have had a blast here Tonight. And I will let you lot know when I have made my post that contains your posts for which we can expect from Nolan. Once Again....Thanks a lot for the response and I really hope everything works out for your beloved club. Just because of Tonight, I will most probably keeping 1 eye on Newcastle to see how they are doing and another eye on Swindon Town to see how Paolo Di Canio is getting along with his first management job. Take care you lot and good night! You won't be having much of a girarrrrfe with Fat Sam mate, you'll be tearing your cannister ahht before the start of September sahn.

  20. According to twitter, you talk out of your arsehole. Am I to put money on that too? Who is this mug cwarr07 he's blocked me the prick, for questioning who he is and his sources.
  21. I only think there's a 5% chance of you being Paul Wyn, if it you then what a schizophrenic fucka. MOre likely distant family.
  22. Looks like West Ham have paid Ba's agents off leaving him free to join us, got to be part of this deal imo.
  23. Youtube? Im torn between that being a good idea and just plain wrong! He's related to Paul Wyn man. Didnt you accuse me of being Paul Wyn at one point? Make your mind up. I know for a fact you're an associate of his, there's nee point lying about it. I'd stake everything in my pocket on the fact you are.
  24. Don't blame any of them. Pardew is talking about 5 buys before the end of the window, in a squad that is already thread bare. We need to see 3 of our strikers leave, Nolan gone, Jose going, we need 8 or 9, what the fuck is going on with these twats, we'll never get a better captain than Nolan.
  25. There's Barton off too then. I hate to think that his commitment comes down to whether his mate is here or not. My commitment would be questioned if the most important players and figures in the club were leaving with no explanation, or obvious plan and ambition. There is a plan though, make as much money as possible, and that's it, that is the plan.
