  1. Big Nev was honestly one of the greatest keepers I've ever seen. As good as Schmeichel if you ask me and part of that brilliant Everton team of the 80s Southall was a scruffy fat mess, which is why he was such a perfect representation of Everton Football Club and their fans. However, he was probably the best shot stopper in the history of the sport in my view, but overall Schmeichel's frame and positioning just shade it for me. Shows what Rob W knows by easily dismissing him like that.
  2. Pockets of Sunderland fans all over Northumberland due to Durham mining familes then people following their Dad's/Grandad's club. Never knew Blyth was a hot spot like. Very strange noticably ugly people in Blyth. Biggest heroin town in the western world per head as well. you can't resist a dig at j60 can you? That's not a dig at J69, he knows am right, walk about in Blyth right look around at the faces and it makes Shields Road feel like the Sunset Strip in comparison. I think Blyth is a mistake of a place it serves no purpose.
  3. Aye so why you sticking a pic up of Isegrim?
  4. Post a picture of yourself as a bairn alongside a very recent pic of yourself. I can still see me in me eyes as a bairn, same eyes, but fuck me if ever there was an advert for teenagers to stay off the beers, tabs, late neets of debauchery this is it. Yeez dee yours and have a look how much you've changed. Some pics of people as kids look absolutely fuck all like them as adults.
  5. Best had retired when I first started watching football and Platini too.
  6. Well not often I'm lost for words but fuck me. £133,000 a week
  7. There's a pub just outside the station called Hogan's it's massive, and cheap as fuck, regardless when you go in there's loads of young single lasses in there, but it's nee Ritz. Apart from that the rest of the bars are half a mile away, and it's far from spectacular, think South Shields without the mackem accents, and even then it's still probably not as good as that.
  8. @lewisbarker By far the best two tweets I've ever seen on twitter. He is a legend, poor old cunt.

  10. In my team we were linked with or strongly rumoured to be signing four of them.
  11. :D :D Bart? Its Andrew but please tell why? Andrew's a canny name. I think you're toon bart on N-O. You'll deny its you, but am sure it is.
  12. Well I know that and I was that type of dweeb as well, I was just unclear where Durham and Northumberland ended and began south of the Tyne. Just mentioned the Gateshead bit to wind-up the residents Historically with Sunderland being the big team of Durham, Gateshead had 8 Sunderland fans to 1 Newcastle fan I read. Even more so when we voted Gateshead out the league.
  13. Who the fucks Mucky01, is that you on there now Alex?
  14. No but as my England World Cup bbc article proved last year, my point was fully vindicated. A toon defeat = trouble for some poor fucka.
  15. http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/...ic,19943.0.html To be fair the tag team is mucccccccccccch better than I thought it was in them days, and my point was proven too

  17. Aye but the way the crow flies its two miles from me, and its an amazing place. There are exceptions to every rule PLUS before Tyne & Wear came in to play, Ryton was Northumberland same as Prudhoe, while Blaydon across was DURHAM. Not that I actually give a shit or was I being serious but it used to be in Co. Durham. Prudhoe's 2 mile away and that's been Northumberland for 300 years. Well anyway, I class Ryton as Northumberland, there ye are, and I was only being part serious. It's actually a hidden gem of Tyneside the village imo. Also why the fuck is Whickham classed as Newcastle on letters? Prudhoe's over the border though The Tyne forms the county boundary (or it did) until the Stanley Burn enters it. Nice area though. Prudhoe's a bit weird imo like so I wouldn't push that too far if I was you You are either one of the few people on Tyneside who is more knowledgable than me, or you're fuckin fantastic on the old google

  20. Nothing can make me think "that's fuckin just disgustin crack", but this did cos it's representing this area. I'd jail them personally. Where abouts in Ryton do you live mate, spent a lot of time there recently, its fantastic well the bits near the half moon. You're very lucky, best pizza shop ever too. Haha i live in the crappier end, somewhere inbetween the Co-op and Stargate Lane. The village is really nice though, I dont venture down there too often, but sometimes take the dog to The Willows and let him swim in the Tyne and always enjoy walking around there. I can't eat Pizza as intollerant to cheese... just my luck there's a great pizza shop there lol! I've fallen in love with the place me like. It's amazing and I didn't even realise how much so. Ye let ya dog swim in the Tyne?!?!?! What's it called Goodhew? People have died there man! Stargate chippy is canny though!
  21. 200 mile an hour winds wouldn't blow yee horizontal
