now lets keep a clean sheet to impress him lol
-
He has been playing well all pre-season needs to create a partnership with someone though. I think taylor would be best bet. Altho it depends how well that casapa is has looked pretty decent, shrewd purchase at 2.9m for the moment lol
-
sounds like a perfect job for him however hes got the luck of the irish and i smell a few games for him this season lol
-
oh fuck is given injured again? must be 0-0 at HT The guys on NO said just a tight groin and taking no chances so off he comes. Never worth risking a tight groin.... yeah, i meant like thank fuck it's not a new injury. Apparanately he will have this groin problem for the rest of his career because of that ripped bowel surgery he had

West Ham get £2m from the deal, his agent will receive a £30m transfer fee in two years time. Who do you reckon owns the player? They owned his registration, that's enough. Stupid rule maybe, but it's the PL's fault, not West Ham's. It's not west ham's fault but they obviously did something wrong, 5.5m fine and the F.A say they will look closely to any of these type of detials. In the court of laz tevez is owned by kia joorchbain and he has his economical rights. So technically West Ham had no say in when he played, for example his agent could have prevented him playing if he went to court. And why is it the carlos tevez saga, wasn't maschareno brought to west ham under the same circumstances and by the same company.

I reckon he could still do a job alongside Forlan with Scholes playing just behind them. with leighton baines supplying the balls for him to knock in

He's a defender first and foremost. Very good positional awareness, and a good communicator across the back. I can't understand why they're letting him go (if it is indeed true). i heard it was because barcelona and another unamed spanish club contacted villareal and they didn't want him playing for a rival spanish club So basically exactly the same as the Luque deal then oh fuck lol
-
Geremi has impressed me but i would love big bouba to sign, now hes a machine

They surrounded his car and threw a couple of eggs at his house, as far as hate campaigns go that's fairly tame. But still, it's quite clear he isn't wanted at the club maybe by a minority but not many have made it clear he's wanted. That type of abuse must get to him and the recent speculation about demanding his 2 mill owed really won't help his cause. They thing is he only GETS those sort of problems because of his REPEATED behaviour at the club. And publicly wanting to be away for "personal" reasons (whilst technically not officially putting in a transfer request) the season after "committing" himself to the club and then wanting a £2m pay of its just SO Dyer it is scary. It's amazing he's not chased though the place with pitch forks and burning torches (and yes the fucker WOULD deserve it IMO too ). Actually this maybe is a statement by Big Sam and/or Ashley about who wears the pants at Newcastle and that might well pay better dividends in the end (than forking out £2m to be rid) even if Dyer sits out the rest of his contract in the reserves. hey im not saying he doesn't deserve the abuse lol he bloody well does the cockmuncher

Same, something doesn't seem right. I know newcastle rarely comment on possible transfers but nothing has come from the newcastle camp and for me, the supposed deal came completely out the blue. I really hope it's sorted soon because many have said he is very talented.

As I said, we might not see it as morally correct, but it IS his entitlement. If you were leaving your job and you had the contractual right to a 'pay off', i'm pretty sure you wouldn't ignore it either. Thing is we should just pay it tbh - all that's going to happen is we'll end up with a player on our books who doesn't want to be here. His contract is reducing and the amount of money we'll be able to command for him will reduce likewise. If he doesn't want to be here that much I am sure he will give in sooner or later. We (Sam) want him here more than he wants to be here. I see your point but he really has to go. I don't doubt BS's qualities to motivate a footballer but this takes the piss. He won't be able to motivate an overpaid twat who really wants to leave and the fans hate him. It's not right that he stays but on the other hand it's good to see Mike Ashley putting his foot down and stating he doesn't want to fuck around (again assuming it's true) and either way dyer will not be motivated. On the contrary, if he doesn't perform for us then no club is going to come in for him so he'll have to give as good an account of himself as he can. You don't know that and neither do I. He could see out his contract and recieve his 80k a week and im sure he woudlnt give two fucks. My view is he isn't going to play for a club who's fans don't apprecaite him, because hes a dickhead but a good footballer and second who's fans destroy his car and his belognings. I personally don't think he has shown enough ambition to suceed on occasions. Yes he is class when he's on form but that is rare and i don't think he will be motivated.

lol i beleive i forgot to add (if its in anyway true)

Those two make little sense. Why would be buy Smith only to sell Martins? And more likely Dyer's deal fell though for the reason mentioned in the other thread (or some other technical financial issue between clubs/agents). I agree would be silly to sell martins now. ESpecially as BS was talking about his versatility and sounds like he won't play much as a striker for us and one more thing, if we have a financial crisis then we would have sold dyer for 6million (2 million of his loyalty shite). Good that he stood firm though
-
I have heard Mido got the better of him a couple of times. haha probably why hes on his way out, be jol in the contest, took his crown and pissed him off lol
-
The only reason he are selling Dyer is because HE wants to leave because of "family reasons" the little cunt should fuck off if he expects a loyalty bonus aswell! If a player doesn't request a transfer in writing then they get 10% of the transfer fee, that's why we ended up paying City £5.5m for Barton instead of the £5m we originally agreed, effectively we were paying for his 'loyalty' bonus so we can't really argue when Dyer demands his. barton was 5.8million. And your point is valid, as they say if it's in the contract, it's in the contract lol. Im not doubting hes liable to recieve it as he hasn't handed the request in but fuck me he doesn't deserve a 'loyalty' payment. We were the club who stuck by him through thick and thin. We helped him through not only a countless number of injuries, but depression and that 'mystery illness'. I don't believe he deserves the 2million but if he is liable for it then i guess he's right to demand it. Lol and this is on the assumption that it is true before i get slated for it (as in believing a load of bollocks)

and its not against the premiership rules to have more than one decent player at any particular position is it? nope but im sure they would both want to play and cost 4m and 6m respectively which is quite a bit of money for someone to sit on the bench. But i see your point about time we had competition for places though, and call me daft but I expect us to have more than our fair share of injuries again this year as normal. We havent exactly got a big squad have we? i'd put "Dragutinovic" in the big name signing bracket at 12 letters haha good first post, now i expect more funny comments lol
-
haha dont do running at spurs. They have pie eating contests which jol always comes out on top of, tbh they are good though

We havent exactly got a big squad have we? what you're saying is all correct but i really don't expect to sign another left back should enrique sign. BS stated he wanted four more players, cacapa, enrique maybe dragutunovic (can't spell) and a big name signing. Shorey is good but i would not put him in the 'big name' bracket. I think after we've signed a left back he won't be looking for another

how would everyone set the side up with the current batch of players?
NobbySol replied to Dr Gloom's topic in Newcastle Forum
geremi will have to play world class in every game in that formation - i dont think he can expect to hold midfield on his own every week can he? Don't know ask him lol, i think he means until barton returns
