and its not against the premiership rules to have more than one decent player at any particular position is it? nope but im sure they would both want to play and cost 4m and 6m respectively which is quite a bit of money for someone to sit on the bench. But i see your point
-
Yeah specially roeder and probably against owen's will lol Roeder made a point if not rushing players back, and didn't for most of the season (for his faults that wasn't one of them). Towards the backend of the season he maybe did a bit, but frankly by that point we didn't even have enough non-academy players fit to field a first 11 team. And I suspect Allerdyce (or anyone else) would do the same thing in that position (because there is no other viable choice). tbh the only player roeder took time for was dyer And Duff (2x), Carr, Baba, Moore, Ramage, Taylor, Given (2x), Harper etc. etc. Rushing players back wasn't one of the faults of his management, by the time he could have been accused of it, there was simply no other option. rushed back emre when he was still injured, continued to play ameobi when his hip was at breaking point which i know ul say he had no other option but he didi rossi and martins or a change of formation. BS says luque was injured for 2 years and roeder played him quite a few times. Rushed taylor back once when he had shit defenders and aggravated an injury. Roeder did rush players back

Yeah sam's got the idea right lol a few of our defenders usually fuck up so get bout 10 and we will be sorted

We won't be signing him with the immenent addition of that young spaniard enrique.

I can understand your view but not too logical. Yes, he is a top player on his day but keeping a player who categorically does not wish to play for club, especially after the recent events is ridiculous. He would barely give 50% work ethic now.
-
martins looks like a pornstar lol losing his anal virginity to his buddy charles.
-
i reckon 6 million isnt enough for dyer, 8 million sounds right but 6 million plus the huge wages 'earned' by the player would lead me to believe the deal already sounds good. Mike Ashley please let him go
-
ive not been this happy since i last had a top chinese meal lol bout a month ago..... looking forward to the season now, highly optomistic which isn't what i should be as we haven't got as much quality as other teams like spurs and co. But nevertheless chuffed with today's dealings
-
or the Vidukanator A.K.A fat head?
-
I'd rather he played against the likes of Rangers and Celtic in the SPL than against some shite like Yeovil for Leeds. But you say the likes of rangers and celtic, they are the only good teams in the scots prem league (and maybe hibs and aberdeen) the rest would find it difficult to compete in league one. He should be going on loan to a championship club, but i don't know the offers he recieved.

I think il get barton and below his name Cell accompanied by his number lol ............. 7

this man cannot write to save his life. god knows how he's clung on to his job for so long Well they say things happen in 3s... Roeder's gone, Shepherd's gone....... Please let it be a hat-trick Nope, wee've already had the hatrick, Roeder's gone, Shepherd's gone and Bramble's gone. Id call it a quadruplit lol if it's such a word
-
I think it's if it turns out to be a shit signing then they don't look like twats with a big fee and if it's a great signing they can say he only cost this I might be wrong but dont you only have to disclose the fee if you are a PLC correct, as we are no longer on the stock market we don't have to disclose any fee
-
I wouldnt say this a great move. It's good that hes playing regularly but in the scottish league haha

Never easy away to the Delije. Red Star are not easy opposition and Rangers may underestimate them completely. The atmosphere at home in eastern europe is very different to the UK, rangers should progress but will be difficult. I think celtic will go out, arsenal will run through to the next round, rangers will be difficult and toulouse did very well last year so wouldn't be surprised if they were to give a good account of themselves against liverpool
-
The mark of an Alan Oliver story. Change that to this. Only met him once. At Highfield Road. Said I was off to pick up a ticket. He said they were sold out last week. Went in got a ticket and he looked pissed off. Think it's time he retired and let his hair go the John Gibson way tbh lol u should have took a picture

Well if we do get baines then we will be probably looking for a playmaker. BS said 4 players plus a replacement for dyer should come in. Smith, Baines, Drag (from sevilla hate spelling his name) and cacapa. That leaves a playmaker purchase available
-
Not strictly true. If he comes here and is pish, we might not be able to sell him or he might not agree to a move if the other club doesn't offer him the wages we are paying him. Think of Marcelinho when he was here or Bogarde at Chelsea. Unless the contract is heavily performance based, the monetary aspect is not a major motivation and, if players really want to, they can refuse to leave and see out their contract. I'm not saying this lad will be like that but rather the way most of these contracts are structured doesn't necessarily incentivise the players to give their all. At the end of the day, he has a track record of success in the past few seasons at Sevilla so I see no reason why he wouldn't do well for us and I don't see how the additional monetary aspect will diminish his performances. fair point but he will have to put up with alot of abuse if he plays shite lol
-
And doesn't seem that way due to the fact that dragman from sevilla looks to be heading our way very soon... so baines probably won't come, unless drag's only a squad player
-
Personally i think it's a tough draw for all the sides, well arsenal have previous of walking over prague
-
Obviously a celtic supporter lol No, Aberdeen! lol hamilton accies all the way
-
Very valid point, if we were to purchase him, would seem to me he would be an alternative option to a few missed targets
