  1. It's very cheap which tempted us into it but whatever you do, do not get Orange. Currently in our third week without broadband and no sign of it being resolved.
  2. Shut up lads, don't let the good people on here get dragged into our shite again. Cheers.
  3. Is it the club or Robson/Souness/Roeder's fault? One thing that always impressed me at Bolton was they never had any real trouble at the club, even though they had Anelka, Diouf and Campo on the books. Can Allardyce get the best out of Barton as well as sorting out his behaviour? He obviously thinks he can if he's trying to sign him, I have my doubts but I would never of thought he would have sorted Diouf out like he did. Diouf's problems were never off-field though (apart from the wife-beating allegations which iirc were never substantiated), on the field he's a total wanker and continues to be, but like Bellamy, when he's playing for you, you try and brush it off. Allardyce got him playing well, but I don't really think there were many attitude problems to curb other than performance. Barton on the other hand is a total headcase imo. You'd think when your brother has gone down for murdering a teenager with an axe, you'd do your best to keep your head down off the pitch to try and stop anyone from tarring you with the same brush but he's done the exact opposite. Maybe, hypocritically, I could put up with it if he was brilliant, but he's not, not by a long shot.
  4. I don't like the word 'gash' either. "Minging" or any derivative of it is my bugbear. Can't stand it.
  5. Said it on N-O a few weeks ago, the big difference between Milner and N'Zogbia's "attitude" is because of circumstances, Milner's been getting a game because there has been no-one else and Roeder hasn't one of his own signings ahead of him. N'Zogbia hasn't had the same circumstances on the left, he's only started ten league games, and I bet half of those were out of position (don't care if he supposedly thinks he's better in the middle, it's not his job to decide). If he'd been getting regular football like Milner, maybe we'd be seeing a similar player to last season. He looked to be returning to form vs Pompey at home just before he crocked himself, then he's not started a game since his return from injury. If anyone thinks Milner would have sat on the bench all season and still been happy to stay, you're living in cloud cuckoo land imo.

    Ouch!

Leazes has been going on about this post editing thing for years. He's too stupid to realise an edited quote is different from editing an original post, and can be done by anyone.

    Ouch!

Worst thing I ever did dragging up that quote, now he devotes himself entirely to N-O. Apart from when he's on icnewcastle talking to himself with three different usernames obviously. He's a truly pathetic specimen.
  8. 10 minute drive, but a good hour to walk.
  9. This stuff about "they've altered my post" is pathetic beyond belief. Is that what debate is to him: "when proved wrong, I'll just claim I never said it and that it's been altered"? Sad case.
  10. I live in St Peter's, but can't see anything out the window. I'm not going so far as to go outside though.
  11. I can't remember feeling this apathetic about the club. Sometimes I can feel it when there's no matches around but then on a matchday I'm always excited about the game, the team that'll play, then listening/watching to it and I'll inevitably ending up feeling some sort of strong emotion about the result. At the final whistle today, I found myself in a position I never have before - "who cares?".
  12. and how many times have you seen NUFC play, from Northern Ireland, you stupid twat I am pleased for you that you think being knocked out of a european competition is far more a disgrace than the 86 clubs who didn't even qualify .... What an arsehole. Never mind. Your bum chums will no doubt defend you tomorrow, as they are as stupid as you..... Christ Almighty, just when I thought you couldn't embarrass yourself any more. Kudos. You want your fucking head read.
  13. Don't be so stupid, none of them play enough games. All hail Bernard.
  14. Welcome to August, Glenn, you thick c...retin (Cath's favourite word should be allowed in this context for the foreseeable tbh.)
  15. That sums up the mentality of the man. We went, with a record of 1 clean sheet in the last 20, to defend a slender lead against a free scoring European side. Twice this season Alkmaar have scored 10 in a match. And we went to defend. Fuck off Glenn, just sling your fucking hook.
  16. It's the same every week, especially when we have a lead, which is why I was so worried about tonight. So often we go ahead, then lose all sense of composure.
  17. But the other side of the argument is the fact that we only needed one goal to go through. NE5 will be able to put any sort of spin to back his "facts" We should just be grateful to have been in Europe at all, unlike Bristol City, Swansea, Gateshead... Yeah I know, Gol, the bloke is brain-dead, might be why he's a fan of our manager, peas in a pod.
  18. So glad we didn't sign defenders in January or the summer now. So is LeazesMag.
  19. Mitchell and Webb certainly failed to mention this little nugget of information, didn't they?

Arriving late into this thread, but I fucking love Watchmen.
  21. It was Nick Pickering tonight for the mackems. Just not the same without Gatesy, he's the life and soul of the show and the only one who really talks any sense. I don't mind Slaven too much like, he's a WUM when it comes to Newcastle especially, but so what? Think he's a canny bloke. I can't stand MacDonald. Slaven sounds very uncomfortable talking about it when he's asked on air, talking about management decisions and that they've got no control over it. Malcolm just skips over the issue, much like he does on anything else of any importance, the monotonous dullard.
