Canny first half and I was impressed with Ferguson. Though when we went 3-0 I think that flattered us slightly. Shite subs combined with players thinking the season was over halfway through second half didnt help. Still, decent season all things considered.

The D3100 is a great choice as a starter kit. Very similar to the D3000 I had. Much of my learning came from books, trail and error. Best camera book I had was the "field guide" series. I had it for the D3000 and just got it for the D7000. This is the one for the D3100 : Amazon

Always hard to judge who's right, and if there even is a right! At the end of the day the best judge is the person who the photo is for... if they like it then its a good shot Do you ever go on http://www.digital-photography-school.com/? If you post images in the forums there then you usually get some good feedback and sometimes its from professional photographers, or people with a good amount of experience in a certain type of photography. I find for photos that are maybe a little different that you can get better feedback on there than from noobs like me Im signed up to their newsletter as they email some nice tips. Never used the forum though, might do cheers.
