I try and remain detached from Football and not get too emotionally involved (Bliddy hard but when you're a Newcastle fan it's got to be done) but i'll be completely knocked for six the day Bobby passes on. Just what I was about to say. I can see it being a disaster of epic proportions. He can scare the team straight but I genuinely believe that most of the side just aren't good enough at Championship level let alone Premiership. McCarthy bought his squad from the lower leagues hoping they'd turn out to be great finds but bar one or to flashes by Lawrence and Whitehead they've all been useless.
