Nolan hasn't been playing CM though and has had other players doing all of the leg work for him, yet he still looks fucked after 60 minutes of every game. Yet Barton has been played out of position all season. I'd rather play Barton in the middle than Nolan any day of the week. Hughton just doesn't have the nouse or bottle to start with Guthrie and Barton and actually go at times. To be fair who is he going to play on the wings with Barton and Guthrie in the middle? With Jonas out and Lua Lua still lacking games. I agree Nolan looks better we he has this lot doing the running for him. So he can spare that bit of energy to harry a defender clearing the ball.
