Dennis Wise quits Leeds to sign up for Newcastle revolution
RlCO replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
Next appointment to be a new press officer by the looks of it. Son of a Leeds based roofing expert, 4'5" midget Mr Wise said, "well, the Academy roof needed a bit of shoring up, so we've done our best to move this club on in the best way I know how, with 10 foot tall players". -
I don't think anybody did tbh, but there was always hope it's not until the final whistle goes and then it kicks in how much shite we could be in, the transfer window is about to end soon and seriously if they don't get one forward or creative midfielder in, then it will be danger! KK was on Sky yesterday saying that Emre will be a big player for us, that may be his answer to the creative midfield problem. Maybe Kev can do what BS,Souness and Roeder failed to do and get him to play to his potential. Big fuckin maybe tho` <<insert 10 foot tall gag>>

Well Bez is gobsmacked and bemused as well. -
Statistically speaking, Allardyce vs. Wenger V Keegan vs. Wenger, it's pretty clear cut if you wanted to bet on it. Statistically speaking 99% of your posts are utter nonsense. And I bet your next one is too. Well the above post is accurate, so I must have hit the lucky 1% this time. Just ignore my next 99 posts. Damn, I should have put money on this. The odds wouldn't have been any good though... But you're clearly not the type to trust the odds.

Someone get on the blower to Kev and get him to pull up his opta stats for shots on goal in the attacking phase of play in the last thirty yards when he's been played in midfield at a fitness efficiency rating of 95% or higher and.... ....ah fuck it. Kev, just get him to be a 10 foot tall giant.

All people Stevie couldn't beat in a fight. Even the sheep.

Zog is always easily hustled off the ball, even by lightweights like Arsenal.
-
Allardyce won at Arsenal loads of times.

I think that classes as that new transgender label. You can't really class that thing as either male or female, nor could you find a single medical practitioner willing to find out.

Because the resulting 'qualification' has a legal academic status and equivalency across all other national educational qualifications, as yet unprecedented in the UK system. Privatisation by the back door. You've already said all that but why is that a bad thing? Conflict of interest. Unbiased recognition by industry. Recognition abroad. General socialist ethic. Corruption. Legal implications for discrimination laws. Public accountability for incompetence. You'd have to expand on what you mean by those in relation to this for me to be able to comment. I'd have to want your comment.

There is a difference between industry backed and funded professional qualifications, and nationaly equivalent publicly monitored and assessed qualifications. The McDiploma is an abortion of both, a complete fudge. Mate the world weary middle classes are just pretending they care, let them have their moment. No doubt some don't and some do. Who gives a fuck about (our?) motives though if the result is that people are allowed to improve their lives in ways that were previously not open to them? What was wrong with expanding and uprating the present system of day release for national college qualifications or more full time vocational qualification places? Absolutely no need for Ronald McDonald's involvement, unless the govt finally admits they cant fund higher education.

Fred knew how to run an offshore rig business. I'm not sure how knowing how to flog shirts or sue people translates into knowing Dennis Wise can improve NUFC.

The Ginola volley epitomises the Premiership era.

Well no-one has shelved the Newcastle Village project as far as I know.

That's a risky game to play, and easy to say in hindsight. It's standard practice to give someone a payrise if someone else wants them and so do you.

I simply don't believe that we approached KK before HR. I know it is the official line, but I just don't believe it. He was. I know you told me before remember... But logically why offer a massive contract to HR if KK was already being felt up? Or am I talking shit? If it's to be believed that Keegan was one of Mort's actual targets (i.e. he wasn't just acting as Ashley's bitch and passing the message on to KK's people), amongst other targets including Redknapp, then Keegan might have met Ashley and not liked him, hence you need a backup.

I think most of his acadamy role will be in terms of recruiting players for it rather than day to day coaching or running the teams. I think this looks good providing Keegan's in full agreement. If not then it will inevitably end in tears. He'll be meeting all the young Africans off the plane at Heathrow, using his wit and charm to convince the authorities they don't need to see a visa.
