  1. "It's all about love". Weird. 2/10. If anyone know what it's about please tell me...
  2. How many talk-ins does Roeder do? No wonder we never sign anyone. Last time he was at one, Liverpool were tying up a deal to bring Kuyt to Anfield, while he was telling everyone he was planning to watch him It was Clark and Oliver, Anal said we had deals done for a 6'4 CB and a LB. Oh, just bs then. Sorry.
  3. Didn't Roeder talk about a signing at a talk-inn a few months ago? IIRC it was a defender and it was almost a done deal...
  4. Because he can play anywhere across the back line. He's out of contract in the Summer so won't cost much. He's a better LB than Babayaro. He's a better RB than Carr. He's a better CB than Bramble, Moore, Ramage, Huntington and Edgar. So is Distin and Ben Haim. Get in Freddie!
  5. Brazil. Copa Cabana. Carnival. Next...
  6. Nobby and Butt should be in there too...
  7. Whooo, they're not allowed to post fixtures on N/O??? But it's allright here, right?
  8. Doesn't look bad at all tbh. Last 15 games: West Ham (h) Aston Villa (h) Fulham (a) Liverpool (h) Wigan (a) Middlesbrough (h) Charlton (a) Manchester City (h) Sheffield Utd (a) Arsenal (h) Portsmouth (a) Chelsea (h) Reading (a) Blackburn (h) Watford (a)
  9. Hehe, nah, not really But with Owen back in March and the Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Bolton and Tottenham away games played, I think we'll get enough points to secure a top 6 finish...
  10. Next 6 games should give us: West Ham (h) 3 Villa (h) 3 Fulham (a) 1 Liverpool (h) 1 Wigan (a) 1 Boro (h) 3 = Min 12 p = 41 points (total) from 29 games Last year 4th (Arsenal) finished with 67 points
  11. Benny will be gone in the summer when they finish 5th. Back to sunny Spain. Real Madrid is my guess. Most likely and Mourinho to Inter. And Mancini to NUFC

  13. 1-1. Huntington!!! Well done lad!
  14. Dyer and Butt would be a good parthership imo. What's up with Emre and Parker?
  15. ***Confirmed line-ups*** Tottenham: Robinson; Chimbonda, Dawson, Davenport, Lee; Lennon, Tainio, Huddlestone, Malbranque; Berbatov, Defoe Subs: Cerny, Zokora, Gardner, Ghaly, Keane NUFC: Given; Solano, Taylor, Ramage, Huntington; Dyer, Butt, Pattison, Milner; Sibierski, Martins Subs: Harper, Edgar, Carroll, O’Brien, Troisi Ref: Bennett
  16. Because one is a player proven to score a goal in less than every two games where the other struggled at Celtic, Wolves and West Ham! Is 23 still up and coming by the way! Tbph, I would rather sign a fit player that played a blinder last wednesday, than a unfit player who peaked 5 years ago and hasn't show anything the last 2 years. On top of that, he's injury prone. What about Jon Dahl Tomasson? He has always stated that he would love to come back to SJP. Would be a decent signing imo.
  17. Aliadiere: cheap and no risk. NUFC transferbudget: limited. Funny how you don't want to loan a upcoming 23 yr old striker from Arsenal, but yet insist we shold bring Fat Ronnie (wage: around £900.000 p/w) to the club... Hmm, im sure Fred agrees!
  18. Would he play any more than Rossi did here? Hmm, difficult to tell... I think the main reasons Rossi didn't get that many games here was: a.) He was cup-tied in the UEFA-cup. b.) Had to leave for about 14 days because of problems in the family IIRC. c.) Coudn't play against Manure. Don't think Fergie had a valid point when he criticised Roeder over Rossi's lack of games. 23 years old and still very much a fringe player kind of tells me he isn't anything that special. I know he has had a lot of quality in front of him but he hasn't done it at a lot of clubs! I would be suprised if Arsenal wouldn't let him go permanently with Henry, RVP, Walcott, Baptista, Adebayor all likely to be ahead of him, i know some of them can play in midfield but with the midfielders they already have I doubt he will ever see much game time. Well even Baptista is having a hard time getting into the starting XI. Martins would only be third or fourth choise in the Arsenal-attack. But as I said before, I would only take Aliadiare on a loan-deal, because I think that we need to focus our spending on the defence.
  19. Well, my point is, that it is a "no risk"-signing because he wont cost much. I don't really care if he was shit at West Ham, Wolves and Celtic. He did rape Liverpool at Anfield in midweek... I think the fact that Arsene won't sell, tells a lot about how highly rated Aliadiare is.
