I think Andy Gray makes a few good points here, I was never in favour of us pushing a deal through.... I can only agree with everything he's said there, apart from one day Spurs are going to break in to the top four, we're the only ones with the calibre and stature and belief to do it, but we're 5 years away maybe. The likes of Bentley if he does well will use Spurs like a stepping stone as they all do, the likes of Carrick, Keane and now of course Berbatov. Let's not mince words, losing Keane and possibly Berbs is a blunder. Can't really say it's a blunder on their part ... part of being a feeder club really. Has Rafa started grooming him for a left back spot yet? Mere feeder club mortals simply wouldn't understand. HAHAHA. Not long before Robbies having a strop on the sideline. VDV looked good in the crappy Bundesliga and hasn't really proved himself at the top level. Too injury prone for the up-and-under of the PL. Unlike your lot we do not play up and under, we play sweet one touch stuff . . . . . . . . . . Sorry forgot to put Smeeagain in front of that We only ever played that under Houllier. Played great football last season, and our pre-season form looks great.

Rarely have a mickey mouse club had a higher opinion of themselves. Their best ever season they came THIRD. They'll never be half as big as Sunderland, and I bet Parker, Nobby, Dyer, Bowyer and Bellamy are fully aware of that now. City wouldn't be a good investment in my view, but if you look at all these clubs who have been taken over, I think ridiculous as it may seem now, but we'd probably be the best investment at the price he got us for. A club is only as good as its fanbase, and ours is probably the third largest in the country, there's no where where the scope for growth is larger than it is here. :icon_lol:
