  1. hahaha loved bartons little smirk coming onto the bitch
  2. Who wrote that Facebook post? Looks like the Black Smoke Monster from Lost. Didn't know he was on FB...
  3. look at that, apsrilla goes down, and doesnt start grabbing his face and shouting, he just gets on with it. brilliant.
  4. Don't even try that shit tonight. Fuck off you soft lad I think most fans can start to see some of Pardews influence coming through and thats nothing against Chris, just a fact. Go ahead then, how have you seen Pardew's influence? For one, I don't think Hughton would've put Ferguson on. Correct, only a tactical genius would have put a young, promising player on when the match is already well won. Fuck off. I'm basing this on the fact that in our 6-0 against Villa and 5-1 against Sunderland, Hughton didn't put on any of the young players on the bench (maybe Ranger). But no Vuckic, Kadar, or Ferguson. Usually just Smith.

  6. my mistake! in any case... BITE THEIR FUCKING HANDS OFF
  7. 4 of his 5 failures were forwards....needs to cut that out tbh CT Aye, but a good chunk of the 51 successful were forward as well. Noticable how much goes down the right these days as opposed to the left. Also lots of that play inside their half. Its clever stuff like that chalkboard. aye I love it. I'm a bit of a statistics nut -- in FIFA and FM I spend a lot of my time just looking through the stats (I really wish there would be something more like the chalkboard in these games, but oh well!).
  8. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/chalkboards/create Tiote, 51 successful passes, 5 unsuccessful. 91% completion. Immense.
  9. Shola's fucked n'aal man. His hips are fucked. Ranger and Vuckic, we've got nothing to lose. Except points and Premiership status He'll play Ranger on his tod then with Nolan off him. I just dislike pulling Nolan out of the middle because it then free's up a space for one of Smith or Guthrie. Hopefully Pardew will be banging on Ashleys door pleading for funds to bolster the squad whether that's loan deals or permanant signings. The fact Carrolls out and people seem resigned to defeat speaks volumes. We should have more about us than that. What have we got to indicate that we shouldn't expect the worst? I'm not saying we should roll over and die, but our other striking prospects don't inspire nearly as much confidence as Carroll does. Ranger has 1 in the League Cup, Lovenkrands has 2 (1 in the league cup), Shola has 6 total (3 of those in the league cup). Also, just looking at how our side performed when Barton was out showed how we played when we were missing one of our key players. I meant it speaks volumes that the squad desperately needs new faces. A new left back is a must, left sided midfielder and at least one striker who kna's how to find the back of the net. Agreed, but I don't think a new left back is absolutely necessary. Yes, Perch is shit cover, but Enrique is class, and I'd rather money be spent on a striker than on a backup left back.

  12. agreed. I cant see Ranger doing well as a lone striker though
  13. Played very well in the first 10 games or so of the season: he did a great job of winning us dangerous free kicks and helped move the ball into the final third. His performance has certainly dropped off of late, but that could be due to fatigue or as someone else noted, the cold weather. I wouldn't say he's shit -- I'd rather have him on the left with then Lovenkrands.
  14. George Caulkin has reported on twitter that Carroll has picked up a thigh injury, and will be out for at least the games against Wigan and West Ham: Worst possible time imo, these two games are very winnable and without Carroll I really lack confidence going into these two. Who will Pardew play up front? Ranger and Lovenkrands?
  15. Breaking Bad is class. Best show on television. I'm currently catching up on Mad Men and Doctor Who, and am on season 2 of both. Loving David Tennant as the Doctor. Echo that about breaking Bad, Walter White is a fucking class character! I was reading an article the other day comparing Breaking Bad and Dexter, and trying to explain why Dexter hasn't been that good in the last season or so, and they basically were saying that the writers of BB arent afraid to unleash Walter White's animal, and the show is just Walter getting progressively deeper and deeper into this world of drugs and insanity, whereas Dexter is all about the progression of Dexter out of madness. Also, read another article recently about the roles of the leading men in these dramas that everyone loves. Theyre all guys who struggle to balance their personal life with their professional life (Dexter, Walter White, Don Draper, Tony Soprano). Which I think says something about what is resonating with audiences now (not quite sure what tbh, but it says something! )
  16. thats quite impressive. i for one have started a game with a bunch of leagues loaded, and I'm going to go around and try and win as many titles as I can. my roommate is Slovenian, so I started in the Slovenian First League with Olimpija. Almost got relegated in the 1st season, but won the league in the 2nd. Now in my 3rd, doing poorly in the league after 9 games or so, but I'm trying to do well in the Europa Cup so its been kind of hard to balance both.
