What an absolute nightmare of a game. Defensively we were suspect all game. They lifted and our players weren't able to. Offside being incorrectly called really hurt us but all things considered it would be tough to argue that the better side on the day didn't win.

Looks a very attacking side, with some excellent options on the bench who can change things up.

Either way works for me. Their relegation would be interesting, and frankly embarrassing given their relative spend. The derbies, whilst enjoyable, are always a risk of injury for our key players. Despite the propensity for them to be terrible games of late, as CT says it's about more than the 90 minutes. The main thing working against their survival is that if they do stay up there will be some feeling of a 'great escape' and vindication in the appointment of dicanio. When it all boils down I don't care that much either way.

1000 times better than Obertan simply because of his decision making.

...I don't buy that. He was our best player in the championship season and yet wasn't offered a new contract before his wound down. The club were selling players and not replacing them, nor showing that they intended to replace them. All in all it smacks of incompetence letting his contract run down, further contributing to the degradation of his confidence in the ambition of the owner and the confidence of said owner in his abilities. Deserved an improved lengthy contract, but they missed the boat on that and consequently the best left back we've had in the premier league era is unduly gone.
