peasepud and Scottish Mag basically got in touch with HTT pretending to me a German newspaper reporter (they created a whole website for the fictional newspaper). They then sent a list of questions for HTT to answer, he did, and they made an article. However, the article was made with an exceptionally poor Babelfish translation and it was discovered. That's about it really. Still not a clue why they did it though.

Like I said on N/O I thought the hoax in itself was OK, in fact fairly amusing and the campaign is already done so no problem there. But I've seen the e-mails that were posted from one side to the other for the 'interview' and they must have taken hours of work to do it. I have just no idea how anyone can spend that much time trying to decieve their fellow Newcastle fans. I still think peasepud is a cracking guy though, and I've got no hard feelings towards him, but I have no idea what would motivate someone to try something like this. Anyway, it wasn't the hoax which has made me leave, more the attitude over here. Too many bitter people. Anyway, where was I? Fuck, I'm gonna regret this tomorrow.
