  1. if we finish the game as it is now we're +3 on GD over WBA and on even terms in games played.
  2. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/fivelive/ BEEB links don't work outside europe.....thanks for the the effort though
  3. i think renewables will fill the gap, new tech has been developed which gives the ability to store 40-80 kWh (about the amount an averge NA family homes uses/day) in your basement in two batteries that are the same size as car batteries can't seem to find the article i read it in......... i'll keep looking
  4. Tenner says you cant back this up with evidence. Twenty says you've been pwned. aye, you can't get more senior than that. I'm surprised the usual culprits didn't dispute it mind ....... Fucking hell man. Stevie makes a good point then you come along and destroy it by making a statement that's equivalent to "You can't get more senior in the UK than Nick Clegg". With cyber-allies like you, who needs cyber-enemies? I have no cyber allies. I'm the board equivalent of Rambo. Who would you say your cyber allies are? I don't cyber-think I cyber-have any. I've tried to cyber-look at Leazes' cock often enough but he's having cyber-none of it. Someone needs to say something controversial to get this thread back on track. they have all been beaten into submission but ain't got the balls to admit it Only Parky seems to have any knowledge of old eastern europe yet they are disputing what is being said, and this bloke "Ken" must have something to hide as he won't tell us who he is on Newcastle Online. Good game isn't it hardly, but i'd sooner piss into the wind, as it has the same effect as countering your inane and blustery assertions without proof that you are right and we are all wrong. even though it's clear that you don't even read most of what is written.....ie your assertions that i've commented on the CND instead of communism
  5. hehehe.......thats how I read it. ok Junior [good yank phrase for you there]........ you may add anything intelligent to the last few pages too if you can no need right now, other people have pointed out that the fact that because an organisation with sympathetic views towards communism recieves money from unamed sources doesn't mean that said organisation is being controlled by the KGB or or the Soviet government. unfortunately for your "opinion", you are wrong Junior. (although nobody has used the word "controlled") well methusela...fortunately for me thats not how opinions work and as for using the word controlled no, but that is your implied meaning from this post..... it is true that the armed forces and services contained a few who had Soviet Sympathies ie Blunt for example who worked for MI5, but the entire movement of CND was sympathetic to the wishes of Soviet Russia and the KGB who knew it and had influence in it. I don't imagine for a moment that a lot of people in CND meant well and thought what they were doing was worthwhile but, in reality, they were gullible, they were demonstrating for a cause which was never going to happen. you are wrong again Junior. "Controlled" is totally different to "sympathetic to" Your "opinion" is that they were not funded and I am telling you that they were. There is a link provided that I didn't need but you do it would appear. actuallly you numb cunt, that wasn't what my opinion was, my opinion was on communism not the CND b/c i don't know enough about them, which is stated in my post....READ IT. now now Junior, just because you realise you are wrong and you don't know what you are talking about, less of the insults. Instead - read my posts again, and if you read the links you will understand a bit more about CND Being a yank, you should know all about the fight against the commies too.

  8. hehehe.......thats how I read it. ok Junior [good yank phrase for you there]........ you may add anything intelligent to the last few pages too if you can no need right now, other people have pointed out that the fact that because an organisation with sympathetic views towards communism recieves money from unamed sources doesn't mean that said organisation is being controlled by the KGB or or the Soviet government. ....but as long as i've started... ...... i don't think that anyone who counts themselves as a communist would want the kind of soviet leadership that existed under Stalin, the communist model as laid out by Marx is a different animal than that which actually came into being under Lenin and Stalin. The use of violence and the corruption of the soviet system (which really isn't all that different to the corruption that existed under the Czarist regime) was not (IMHO) what Marx had in mind. but then that is my opinion on communism and not the CND to which i really don't know anything about, as an aside i thought the best anti-proliferation protest stunt I've seen was done in the UK, greenpeace took a projector and a slide that read "This ship contains Nuclear Warheads" or (something to that effect) and floated out to the ship and projected it in letters that where 20 feet high. Fucking brilliant if you ask me. quite the public backlash if the greenpeace magazine is to be believed.
  9. Pretty sure he is just another manifestation of Esau (Jacob's enemy) like Walt, Claire, the smoke monster, etc who shows up to convince people to help his cause. That's what I initially thought, it's just the fact that his coffin is now lost that led me to believe that he may be something more. Or more likely I'm just reading too much into it. something is definitely up with christian, hes the only portion of the objects/people that didn't zap back into the other reality (ie his coffin is gone) and i don't think he's part of Esau plans (anymore i think his apparition was there to get jack to do what he wanted ) but now Jacob and Esau have switched realms Esau being incarnate and Jacob being an apparition. I agree with Matt, a few answers but as always more questions
  10. The Internet has completely spoiled me for TV now. I can't bear any ad breaks. Even if I lived in the US I would probably still wait for the next day and download or Tivo shows. Anyway thought it was a little underwhelming. Felt more like an extension of season 5 which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Hopefully it will all tie up eventually but it's got a little too overly complicated just for the sake of it over the past couple of seasons I feel. agreed, i never watched it until 2008 and then i got sucked in by the box sets, you are going to be pleased with some of the revelations of the season premier.
  11. having the Locke alive/dead question answered was what was needed. but now i can't reconcile the alternate reality/choices, it's all very 'schrodinger's cat' which is what the entire coffin thing reminded me of.
  12. hehehe.......thats how I read it.
  13. thought it was humorous that Keane didn't make any difference in Celtic's game against Killmarnock
  14. had the season premier last night.........I have to say i enjoy it more on DVD without commercials, anyone see it? very confusing and enlightening all at the same time.
  15. clearly pissed that chelsea won under abromovic....
  16. Funnily enough there is a parallel with the "war on terror" - I always thought it was over-hyped to ensure a docile populace. I remember when the Russians downed a US jet over Korea when I was still at school (about 79?) and people being a bit worried and a teacher telling us that if it hadn't happened over Cuba it was never really going to happen. They shot down Gary Powers in the 1950's over their airspace, they also shot down a Korean jet because it was too close to Kamchatka Island in about 1983 NOt bad LM. what's YOUR life experience then .......surely you can't be suggesting that he put his life experience on an internet forum......
  17. http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/...sp?product=1496 had i known this existed before i bought mine this is what i would've bought.
  18. sorry did you say something all those syllables giving you trouble? you lack the knowledge of the history of what we are discussing, just like your knowledge of the UK and NUFC personal attacks...tsk tsk....and at your age...... lack of knowledge giving you trouble ? ....where's the hook line and sinker smiley?
  19. sorry did you say something all those syllables giving you trouble? you lack the knowledge of the history of what we are discussing, just like your knowledge of the UK and NUFC personal attacks...tsk tsk....and at your age......
  20. sorry did you say something all those syllables giving you trouble?
  21. tis you to a tee you're clueless like, but OK I suppose ... so you're not going to answer the question then? not ignored if it makes sense and not defending them do gooder style it's pretty straight forward old man , Why are your generalisations permissible and others' are not? oh dear. You are showing your immaturity by resorting to such comments.........
  22. hit a nerve did I? haha not in the slightest. You may think you know all about the UK,which you don't, but I can state quite categorically your knowledge of NUFC is zilch in comparison to me.......... full agreement with you there LM, however that is not the topic and nor has it ever been my opinion that I know more about NUFC than you or anyone else on this board.......your rampant xenophobia is exceeded only by your level of douche-baggery hit a nerve did I not at all, but your attempt to draw attention away from your own prejudices and your knee jerk reactions to a percieved threat from immigrants, by pointing out that you know more about NUFC than I do makes you look like a even more of a complete twat indeed. As does your insistence that you know more about the UK than someone who lives in it So far as I am concerned, with an attitude like yours, the UK is better off without you and you can take all the scumbag terrorists and intolerants you defend with you if you have so much time for them. no where do i imply i know more about the UK. I don't need to be from the UK to spot racism intolerance and ingnorance.....good try though. intolerants...that would be you wouldn't it? all i have defended is the right of people to protest and say what they believe, i haven't said anywhere that I agree with what they are saying or protesting for........there is a distinct difference the two things i have defended are exactly what make countries like Britain and Canada and the US great, because we can't be persecuted for speaking our minds......so i say if you don't like those freedoms and laws then perhaps it is you who should go to a country where they don't exist.....i hear North Korea is nice this time of year this is going back to the thread about those shitbags in Wootton Basset, Luton etc. You can't go around life with no discipline, this is totally different to having free speech. You have to accept certain responsibilities and you should respect the flag of the country you live in or fuck off to somewhere where you do. You still know nothing about me, you would have to tell me about North Korea if it appeals to you i know enough you still know nothing about freedom of speech.....quite obviously from your above post. if freedom of speech only protects the ideas which are popular or that you agree with it is known as propaganda. you know absolutely nothing about me, and you aren't going to either. Believe me, I know all about free speech and understand like most things, it has boundaries, which is what you and the other blinkered idiots don't understand. absolutely..... here they are...... Freedom of speech is the freedom to speak without censorship and/or limitation. The synonymous term freedom of expression is sometimes used to indicate not only freedom of verbal speech but any act of seeking, receiving and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used. In practice, the right to freedom of speech is not absolute in any country and the right is commonly subject to limitations, such as on "hate speech". Hate speech is speech perceived to disparage a person or group of people based on their social or ethnic group,[1] such as race, gender, age, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, language ability, ideology, social class, occupation, appearance (height, weight, skin color, etc.), mental capacity, and any other distinction that might be considered by some as a liability. The term covers written as well as oral communication and some forms of behaviors in a public setting. It is also sometimes called antilocution and is the first point on Allport's scale which measures prejudice in a society. so you don't believe in absolute free speech then ? [but you said you did, or just when it suits you] Back to where we started. If you can't respect the flag of the country you live in, fuck off to where you do. If you want to heckle those who represent that flag and protect its boundaries and interests, fuck off and fight them with a uniform and represent what you believe in. This has nothing to do with free speech, nothing. It is about observing discipline in life and respecting other values and not imposing your own where they are not wanted. You can think about the economic problem of rising immigration and a rising population in your own time, it has been asked 4 or 5 times now by myself and others. are you really that dumb? you said there were boundries for freedom of speech, i agreed and listed them as set out by the government......please note none of the boundries as set out by you have made the list. so no i don't believe in freedom of speech as laid out by you.
