These "old" comments do make me smile .... especially when you have so much to learn don't take yourself so seriously LM, if you can't laugh at yourself who can you laugh at......fwiw, you're not all that much older than myself, but you seem to think I'm a student yawn. Like a few others on here, you should get out a bit more. suggestion noted.....

    Wisdom teeth

That is pretty standard treatment Craig. You can probably combine the co-codamol with ibuprofen if you've had no problems with it before (e.g. wheezing). I would combine them if it were me, should help with the pain. You'll need the tooth removed, as you have been advised. Amoxicillin is a standard anti-biotic. Orajel- 'nuff said. Co-codamol seems to be a codeine/ acetaminophen (paracetamol) mix kinda like how they do oxycontin over here. Too much acetaminophen can cause liver failure (which is part of the reason it is so often mixed with opiods- it helps to scare people into not taking large amounts), so don't take more than the recommended dosages. As little as 2,000 mg of acetaminophen can cause liver damage in someone who drinks regularly. Don't know how well it mixes with ibuprofen, but if you really need some pain relief and only have the tools above at your disposal, google "jamaican gold" and give that a go. FYP....
  8. ......this thread dripping with irony
  9. first time in a while (ever) the advantage would appear to be with a PC tablet.
  10. "Your World is about to get a whole lot smaller" the end of cheap oil just started it, looks good relates the "peak oil" phenomenon to the economic concequences of said phenom. not a complete "brainwashed egghead"..... also just finished "the Burning Land" -5th book in the saxon stories series by Bernard Cornwell and "Under the Dome" by Stephen King
  11. the freestyle (moguls, arials and ski-cross) are at the hills surrounding (and visible from) vancouver and I think the halfpipe and slalom snowboard events are as well but I can't remember which is where Cypress and Seymour are the ones that come to mind but then there is Grouse Mtn as well. When they take photos/film the snow boarders from uphill at the halfpipe there will be some crazy shots of downtown vancouver as the back drop, it looks like the riders are going to land across Seymour Arm. HOCKEY!!! OLYMPIC HOCKEY, MAN!!! Can't wait to see U.S., Canada, Russia, and Czech Republic. Those are going to be some strong teams. Canada taking the top line from the Sharks, U.S. throwing a young and inexperienced gritty team out there, Datsyuk centering Ovechkin and Semin? Wow. Gonna be some good puck being played. i'm worried though canada has had a bad habit of choking on the big stage...(sound familiar) so much hype for the olympic team and how 'it's our game so of course we'll get the gold medal', but just look at the world junior tournament this year and we got out played by the US team. I just hope there isn't a sense of entitlement by the canadian players. but i agree its going to be some great hockey
  12. Aren't Pompey struggling to name a bench these days as well? Fwiw I'd go with. --------------Harper -------Willy Colo Kadar Jose Routledge Smith Guthrie Jonas ------------Nolan Carroll But operating more like. 4-1-3-1-1 because all too often our central midfield is 20 yards behind the play It aint FM2010 son. No PLPLSOAFFG? 5-0 tonight. pardon my ingnorance but wtf is that? Pish League Pish League Shite Overpaid Arseholes Fuckin Fortysix Games cheers Peter Lovenkrands, Peter Lovenkrands, Signed On A Free From Germany - its a song in the ground, apologies. no worries, i wouldn't have known the difference, all i can ever get the game on is a gamecast or sometimes the radio newcastle stream and i can never hear the words to the singing

  14. indeed february in canada....... swimming pools are all frozen and have people playing hockey on them The winter Olympics is it classed as an Olympics? I didn't even know what country it was in, in fact the only one I can ever remember was in Canada, Calgary I think. I don't even think we show it on TV let alone publicise it. like i said before 'magnifying glass trained on the UK' , and it doesn't surprise me about the lack of coverage, UK isn't really (on a normal year) a winter sport hotbed is it?however there is a huge world out beyond the borders of the UK stevie, i know i know.....none of it will be as good as it is in the UK, but it might not be all bad either...... True. It aint all bad. You seem to think the UK just considers the UK, especially in sport, but we're not that insular, we get Spanish football here on a weekend, and Italian although most normal people don't watch Serie A. hahahaha......no stevie i was talking about you.......

  17. Thats what they call me I come up with some cracking ideas / business plans but am shite at turning them into reality! Thats the problem when your "creative". (special) Tell us one of your business ideas. Selling mobility aids such as scooters. Massive and growing market, old people living longer and demanding to stay as independant as possible. Currently have a spare bedroom full of scooters but cant be arsed to "get on with it". Also researched several franchises such as cash generator and then put off going ahead with it and watch some other fucker open it instead. Typical creative tbf You need a shop for that I guess? You'd have to sell a fair few mind. What is a cash generator? As franchises go its pretty decent and quite recession proof . Currently opened over 100 franchise stores throughout the UK https://www.cashgenerator.co.uk/franchise-opportunities so it's a pawn shop? why didn't you just say so?

  19. once I get my P.Eng. I am going to start my own business, register it anyway and start designing/project managing custom homes for people, I've been keeping a folder of ideas for this for the last 2-3 years and I have been building a scale model of my first design which uses old shipping containers as the main building material.
  20. really you bought used shoes? a false (and foolish) assumption is that everything on ebay is used 5 pound for new ones.....maybe...but i take your point
  21. really ? who do you work for? my advice if your company has a vancouver office opt for that one, calgary is a strange 'city', thinks it's bigger than it is and then you have the country music aspect as well (not the good stuff either like Willie or Waylon just the new country rock shit). A Consultant Engineers, we have one there too. Calgary is close to Banff though The problem with Banff is that is in Alberta, and at the risk of sounding like stevie with an anti-(insert non new castle region) (no offense stevie) tirade with alberta as my target. BC is miles (kilometres) better than AB, I am assuming you've been to banff since you have it as a reason for going to calgary. Most of BC is like banff without all the tourists and painfully high prices (except for beer. booze is cheap in AB). Not to mention that vancouver is a far superior to calgary as a city you have the mountains the ocean and all the ammenities of a major metropolitan center, and none of that crappy country rock shit that calgary has.
