  1. You've changed the subject by putting forward the idea that Cabaye went on strike. Why did Rooney not start against Swansea? Why, which is the question we are addressing, did the Man U fans not therefore make the same assumption about him not starting? He didnt play in the Community shield yet he looked fitter than ever against Chelsea. Trying to crowbar an argument between the two situations is nonsense. The Man U fans werent 'settling for mediocrity' as per The Moog by giving him 100% support even though they know his head is turned too.
  2. You want to know the alternative? You should have watched the Man U game against Chelsea and heard their support for Rooney.
  3. Good post Phil. The reference points have moved on though with the influx of the additional TV money. Our squad is not as good as the 11/12 season if its not as equipped to deal with the opposition. As this is a competition, its a relative assessment. Relatively we are weaker.
  4. He's looked a lot better in more difficult games. He's a funny character, a bit jittery as he was described to me when we signed him. Could see that side of him tonight, thought he looked very poor. Better that he has that sort of game tonight than in the league.
  5. He had a poor game but it might have done him some good. Ben Arfa showed why he is by far our best player tonight.
  6. Ben Arfa AND Marveaux on the pitch together!
  7. Not sure the cloud is that useful out walking in remote areas. My phone is 64gb, about half music and i'm glad to have it. A quarter photos and videos of my daughter.
  8. It's Android that does the work, not Samsung.
  9. Apple sell good looking products at premium prices based on what they know their customers want. They also lock you in by ensuring that the best way to use one of their products is to have all of their products. That premium entry price pisses people off. Its like Abercrombie & Fitch refusing to do over a size 12 for girls. They dont want poor people....or they didnt. Samsung lie about their products and try to persuade their customers they want technical features. They do this much more cheaply as a deliberate use of price in the marketing mix. The people that run it are just corporate dudes who used to run the concrete division. Android & Google, now thats another thing. I personally find Google very distasteful as an organisation but at least they true innovators. I understand that Android is better than iOS, reflecting the fact that Google is probably the most innovative tech giant around.
  10. Totally agree, good luck sorting things out Rob. There are some people with expertise and experience in this area on this forum so listen to them. I guess the hard thing will be taking that first step to getting some help. Hope you posting on here helps you do that.
  11. Aye was just thinking coming on fresh against a tiring lower league side at the arse end of extra time, he looks world class....
  12. I've not really mentioned Apple apart from the app infrastructure, I wanted to make a point about spec fetishes because Samsung have been gaming the system. Anyway, I'm thinking about changing my personal phone because work are switching me from Blackberry to iPhone when the next one comes out. So I might get a HTC next time
  13. He talks about 'amazing specs' in one post then says he's not interested in the next. He claims reviewers don't discuss specs when benchmark apps are designed to test the specs which is what the reviews are based on. He then claims he's had 15 phones in the smartphone era this revealing how shit his consumer choices must be. So I gave up and did something more interesting.
  14. It looks lush because of the specs yet its bollocks that reviews are based on specs? Specs play a massive role in reviews which is why it was a scandal about the Samsung code called 'benchmark booster' because reviewers deploy benchmark apps when assessing new models. Don't say bollocks to someone who clearly knows more about the subject.
  15. Those rankings are compiled by people looking at specs. Specs which have been shown to be completely false. Those reviews don't take account of app diversity, quality or stability. Nor do they take account of the integrality of the device with the rest of the of your media and computing. Depending on what you read, those reviews are never independent. You access all reviews through google search, a company known to manipulate search for its own profit.
  16. It's a financial fact of life, developers are all on record saying that due to the better returns their apps are developed and optimised for iOS first. There may be a small delay in some cases or up to 2 years was was the case with the BBC iplayer.
