No you don't, the idea doesn't make any sense. If you don't want to spend the money, you don't need to make the offer formal. What does make much more sense is that this is Aulas's story to deflect the criticism he is getting. Funny that he tweeted every detail as it happened apart from this one.

Don't believe a word that Aulas comes out with. Just as likely him trying to deflect from the fact he wouldn't budge on the Saint Etienne sell-on fee and now looks like a twat for not accepting the offer earlier. He thought he was the tougher negotiator and has lost his club at least 5m instead. It would be odd if he didn't make some claim like this since its his fault his club missed out on a lot of money. Basically you don't make pretend offers and have them accepted by the club if you are just trying to fake a bid.

I want to compare it to Stop Making Sense, there were plenty of shots paying homage to Bernie Worrell and sparse white lights etc. Difference being that 30 years on, it comes with added self-introspection and day after melancholy. Loved Arcade Fire during North American Scum but the highlight was Someone Great which is a song, sadly, I associate with the death of a mate's dad. Can't believe I had tickets for that tour and didn't go.

I've got a pain on my inside lower leg from running, had a look online and some suggestions it could be shin splints. I get problems all across my left leg from my knee injury i think. I pulled all my ligaments off the bone in my left knee (and a couple snapped for good measure too) when i was 15. It put paid to my football career. I think i must compensate for the knee when i am running as i get muscle tightness which seems to be right under my left arse cheek, sore knee (obviously) and now this shin / inner lower leg pain. Did 7km yesterday (i run in a place called Parc Monceau, the fanny is utterly ridiculous) and feeling like i made need to take a break for a while. Nightmare.
