  1. Fair enough if it was just Ashley's decision, but I see plenty of people defending the decision to sack him. I've seen people say he wouldve taken them down that season. If it was something the Newcastle fans didn't support, I'm surprised that my criticisms of your club's decision to sack him is met with such opposition. I wouldve thought there'd be more people who'd say maybe you were wrong to sack him when you did, as in the eyes of many educated neutral fans (and don't give me this Sky Sports nonsense), it was one of the key points in your downfall. Not the absolute pivotal one, but one of the important bits. ewerk wanted rid of him after about 8 games, not everyone did. You see some posters on here defending the decision but i have also shown you that packed away ends at Wigan in the league and Stoke in the cup were backing the manager loudly and loyally. Thats where it matters, thats the public face of the support whose opinions and influence you are saying got rid of Allardyce. Its just nonsense. However, given that all of us who were backing him could see that he was trying to fit a system to a set of players whose strengths lay elsewhere, there was a rather communal shrug of the shoulders when he was sacked, a lot of expressed surprise and significant proportion thinking wtf? There was no time to develop strong reasons for being opposed to ashley's decision because within 2 weeks KK was back.
  2. This is all moot anyway as the point being debated here is between individuals who thought Sam should go at the time. I'd say the majority of fans wanted to give him the season at least, he had 5000 fans singing his name at the end of the Wigan away just before he left and most were surprised when he left too. This lad from Blackburn has built his argument against the fans of Newcastle, not the club itself. No one has quite grasped this distinction. Ashley based his decision on poor performances and shit results, not the mutterings of a proportion of home supporters.
  3. actually Chez ruined your thread. I hate people getting obvious things wrong About you being a tedious bell-end? Thought i had that spot on. No, Mongalong. Parky is accusing me of a thread de-railment, it was your victim complex fucking it up for everyone else. Now run along and hack up a lung. I hate people who use the same joke that's been doing the rounds for generations like it's the first time anyone's ever said it. What the fuck are you talking about? I'm using Mong as a verb, because you're a Mong and as you walk along you "Mong" spreading your mongness like a massive Mongy cloud. I was laughing at the bolded bits. It was the comment about the same joke doing the rounds that confused me. If its because i called you a tedious bell end, then i swear thats exactly what i was thinking at the time. Maybe its slipped subliminally into my mind but i didnt realise i was doing it. I thought the joke was that everyone on here usually called you a fat spastic cunt anyway?

  8. What's your view on what happened? Sounds like turbulence, electrical storm. some systems failures, jet upset (at that height and speed the margin are pretty small), dive in the dark, structural failure, decompression, break up Why no SOS from pilot, or attempt to call anyone?

  10. You'll need to find a cure for heart disease and COPD too though, better get your overtime in. Heart disease? Its sorted, prevention, treatment, surgery is all well understood. You cant change people's lifestyles but you can pretty much do everything else. Heart failure is still a bit tricky mind and an infarction depends on time to stenting etc but if you go to hospital in time, they can save you. Anyway, to your point, one of them will get me. Cheers for that. Rather a big IF there. COPD is the one that makes me laugh about smokers, one of the most prevalent smoking related diseases yet most smokers have no idea what it is. And rather than the relatively quick death offered by an MI or lung cancer, it's a long drawn out process where you spend many years of your life too breathless to do anything, even breathless at rest. And the funniest thing is that while by not smoking you reduce your risk of heart disease and cancers, you can pretty much exclude yourself from getting COPD - there are hardly any diseases that you can do that to. Seretide is one of my old babies, its a fucker of a disease to treat.
