I know why they are doing it. They have been careful not to accuse the US directly but instead the 'instruments of western imperialism'. The Brits have got in the neck directly, there was a very fervent anti-british protest at Tehran university last week. Wouldnt surprise me though if there had been some covert politcial activity in the country over the past few years, its part of our MO.

Stick to copying and pasting your googled opinions for people to ignore. Rattled. Likewise. JOKE!!!111!!!!!!!1 It will be funnier watching Nicos/Chris/Ming/The harbinger of death execute his backtrack. If you start referring to yourself as Parky, our relationship is over. Its a symptom of this btw, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depersonalization_disorder

Does anyone know why Iran accused the west of meddling? Was it simply because they didnt like the reporting from the BBC/CNN etc or was there something else at play? I'm not saying the west is implicated in anything that has happened but one thing struck me whilst watching CNN last week, there was utter glee in the reporting style that the regime in Iran had opposition from moderates on the street. What was also amusing (and interesting from a general media perspective) was the inability to actually get any original content from their own media, relying on twitter and youtube mnust have been galling. Anyway, the amount of 'ooh look at the rebellious avatars from an anonymous user that could be inside iran' was bizarre. I know the attitudes of the newsdesks must be pretty defiant since they've all been kicked out but it has been also been distateful too imo.

btw. The bastard.

Fucking shocking stuff. The police have always been cunts though, worse in the past. Not seen the video like but if parky and fop are up in arms then something can't be right.

I thought you'd just met your lass?

Pud was a little confrontational and as everyone says, the original article's tone wasnt that bad in a 'there there, pat you on the head and go ahh' way. The problem everyone quite rightly has is that he is suggesting we do something that is logistically and mathematically problematic and then calling us when we question the logistics, in particular the figures around numbers and annual fees. To be called on our passion and call us whores because we think his argument is shit, is affront to common fucking decency. I'd be happy to take this up with his editor when i get back home next week. Lesson #431 of internet debating Patrick, you get found out when you talk shit, this isnt Jimmy Hill's fucking sofa.

His responses are classic, show all the traits of somone who has been handed their arse on a plate but wont accept it. The immaturity in the response is staggering too, doesnt address the calculations or the criticism of his assumptions and just claims superiority in his argument because he gets paid to write for a national. It would be funny if it wasnt so unjust.

Two points fop, the number of active and inactive demographically over the next few years means there will be a funding crisis. Have a look at the EPC's graph in this link. http://www.egagenerics.com/gen-economics.htm If you look back over the arguments, its been about the greater use of social insurance and the invetiability of a two-tier system. Its because more old people = more demand, whilst at same time less working people = less funding. Its not that hard to get. Secondly, NICE doesnt present a sob story, its a rationale body with a constitutionalised set of decision-making criteria, the exact opposite of the shroud-waving patient / vested interest groups.

The price NICE is willing to pay is roughly 30k for a year of perfect health.

Lynx Africa does the job, 4 of them for £3 in Morrisons! Does anyone old enough to sweat actually wear Lynx? Roll-on Nivea. Doubles up as a butt plug.

Definitely in the 'alright when quiet' category. The fucking wankers in there. No wonder you like it And Parky, I heard they were actual biscuits I bake them personally. Funny thing was the we had dinner first and Chez was a bit nervous cause his boss was there. Anyway at the club I slipped her a biscuit and about 20 min later she was snogging Chez's mate. Legend.
-
Is that the waterfront parky? Does everyone on here know about the night we took disco biscuits and ended up in bed together?

The Broken Doll was mint and the Farmers was canny as you could get served underage as long as you behaved yourself. Egypt Cottage is shit now as well. Although probably the sadest loss of all for me was The Barley Mow. Did the people from the Barley Mow take over the Tyne?

Pics?? Put 14 rue de Lisbonne, Paris, France into google maps, then click on street view - look for the green-fronted irish bar. This one? No, the only pic/view is on google maps.

You only need a half, so 30 notes and 4 less drinks over the night and your about even if you're out in London.
